Eco-SSL values were derived for all receptor groups. <strong>The</strong> Eco-SSL values for selenium range<br />

from 0.52 mg/kg dry weight (dw) for plants to 4.1 mg/kg dw for soil invertebrates. With the<br />

exception of the plant and mammalian values, these values are higher than the 95 th percentile of<br />

reported background soil concentrations of selenium in eastern and western U.S. soils (Figure<br />

2.1). <strong>The</strong> Eco-SSLs for plants and mammalian wildlife are higher than the median value for<br />

eastern U.S. soils and the 75 th percentile for western U.S. soils.<br />
