24. Turnover Turnover is the income that a company receives from its operating business activities, usually from the sale of goods and services to customers. It could be considered as the value of economic production that is produced and performed (finished or unfinished) during the period. It consists of sales for products or services provided during the year. The turnover for insurance mutuals and insurance co-operatives is represented by the Premium income, that is the revenue an insurance company receives as premiums paid by customers.
