After a brief intervention by Commissioner Schreyer, Mr Gray, Deputy Director
General and accounting officer of the Commission, introduced the final accounts for
2002.

The chairman reminded members of the deadline for the inclusion of questions to the
Commission in the 2002 discharge questionnaire (25 November 2003).
4) Presentation of the 2002 annual report of the European Court of Auditors
Mr Fabra Vallés, President of the Court of Auditors presented the annual report for the
financial year 2002.

The chairman reminded the committee that the presentation of the 2002 annual report to
the plenary would take place on Tuesday, 4 December 2003 in Brussels.
