Prize in recognition of<br />

during their Year 12<br />
studies. Lachlan Baker<br />
(ASBA Diesel Mechanic,<br />
shown above left) has<br />
rolled over <strong>to</strong> a full<br />
time Apprenticeship at<br />
Kuchel Contrac<strong>to</strong>rs.<br />
Dale Giersch (ASBA<br />
Engineering, shown at<br />
left) has rolled over <strong>to</strong> a<br />
full time Apprenticeship<br />
at Shannon Welding & Fabrication Services.<br />
Caitlin Schubert<br />
(Hospitality Training<br />
at TafeSA <strong>to</strong>gether<br />
with work placement<br />
program, shown at<br />
right) has travelled<br />
overseas and gained<br />
employment locally at<br />
the Barossa Novotel<br />
and Mel<strong>to</strong>n Wines.<br />

Care Training at TafeSA<br />
<strong>to</strong>gether with work<br />
placement program,<br />
below right) continues<br />
<strong>to</strong> study at TAFE for<br />
her Diploma of Nursing<br />
while working part time<br />
at the Tanunda <strong>Lutheran</strong> Homes.<br />
<strong>Faith</strong> School is very proud of their efforts.<br />
Another student from our class of 2009, Vaughan<br />
Scott-Hoy, received 20 out of 20 for his Music<br />
Engineering course through VET. He was awarded<br />
with his certificate at Government House. Well<br />
done Vaughan!<br />
marriages<br />
Jasmine Plush (2003)<br />
and Brandon Kurtz were<br />
married on Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 10th<br />
2009 at the Bethany<br />
<strong>Lutheran</strong> Church<br />
followed by a reception<br />
in the Signature Cellars<br />
at Yalumba Winery. The<br />
Bridal party included<br />
former students Jessica<br />
Plush (2001) and Alex<br />
Hoffmann (2003). They<br />
honeymooned in America and the Carribean and<br />
now reside in Nuriootpa. Jasmine is the Manager<br />
of Angas<strong>to</strong>n Hotel and the Wanera Wine Bar and<br />
Restaurant.<br />
Louise Jaunay (2002) and Robert Brumfield (2002)<br />
married on 6th March this year. In their wedding<br />
party Klaus Preusker (2002), Philip Jaunay (2003),<br />
Daniel Keller (2002), Scott Gerhardy (2002), Travis<br />
Sickerdick (2002), Melissa Jaunay (2000), Lori<br />
McClelland (2002), and Sarah Weaver (2002) were<br />
all old scholars (in fact the whole wedding seemed<br />
like a <strong>Faith</strong> re-union as many of the guests were<br />
old scholars <strong>to</strong>o!)<br />

Jaunay. Louise<br />
and Robert now<br />
live in Williams<strong>to</strong>wn. Louise is an environmental<br />
consultant working for Rural Solutions, and Robert<br />
works for the Yalumba winery. Congratulations!<br />
exchanges<br />
Katie Pence and Miranda Benson (Year 10) joined<br />
us in Term 1 from Long Island <strong>Lutheran</strong> High in<br />
New York. Nao Kurihara (Year 10) became a<br />
long term exchange student at <strong>Faith</strong>, from<br />
Seibo Gakuen in Japan. She will stay in<br />
Australia until January. The girls are<br />
pictured <strong>to</strong>gether at far left. Stephanie<br />
Dengler (at centre left, Year 10) arrived<br />
for a short exchange for Term 3 from<br />
Germany. Phillip Sederstrom (at left, Year<br />
11) joined us from Sweden in Term 3 for a<br />
12 month exchange through Rotary.
