This is a good heart-warming Bible study, which will run for six consecutive Sundays. We will finish this study today. Sunday Evening at Church This study meets at 6:30, is lead by Marv Schweigert, and they are studying “Exodus, Part 2”. Women’s Wednesday Morning Study Beginning the first Wednesday in April, April 4, there will be a new Bible Study starting at 6:30 a.m. This study will be led by Freda Peters. They will be studying Ruth. There are 11 lessons in this study. If you are an early riser, please join them for this study. Monday Afternoon Women’s Study 1:30 p.m. “Great Women of the Bible” is the title of this study lead by Karen Lindbloom. In this study, participants will learn about many of the great women that God shows us in His Word by studying their weaknesses and strengths, trials and triumphs. Above all, participants will see God in His abundant grace as He forgives, sustains, and inspires. Wednesday Morning Men’s Study This group meets at 7:00 a.m. in the Young Conference room and they are studying “Proverbs.” Proverbs seeks to teach us that the foundation of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; seeks to teach us wise living through righteousness and justice; wants us to learn wisdom in family life and how to relate wisely to all people; and wants us to recognize the value of instruction, rebuke, advice, and discipline. 14
Wednesday Evening at Church Study This study meets at 6:30 in the Preschool room. This study is lead by Bill Markley and is about “The Life of David”. Wednesday Evening Study in Homes This study meets at 6:30 in participants homes. They are studying the “Lifelight Foundations: Law and Gospel.” They are taking a break through Lent. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Honor Begins at Home – “Courageous” Are you ready for a heart-warming, life changing film? Well, join us on Palm Sunday, April 1 for a powerful cinema experience. This terrific film will be shown in the Sanctuary on Sunday, April 1 from 3:00- 5:15 p.m. There will also be a four-part follow-up Bible Study entitled “Courageous Living” on Sunday, April 15, Sunday, April 22, Sunday, May 13 and Sunday, May 20. Food drive at Faith in March Keep an eye out for specials at the grocery store, because March is Faith's month to collect items for the Pierre-Ft. Pierre Food Pantry. The need is particularly crucial this year, as usage at the Pantry almost doubled in 2011. The increase was due in part to expanded need during the flooding last summer, but the agency continues to see higher numbers than usual. The Faith congregation is one of the largest supporters of the agency, so this food drive is very important. All types of nonperishable food, paper products, and personal hygiene products are needed by the agency. Of particular need at this time: Baked Beans Peaches Cereal Pears Chili Pork & Beans Chunky soups Potato mixes Cooking Oil Saltine crackers Cream soups (mushroom, celery, chicken) Spam/Treet Evaporated milk Spaghetti sauce Flour Stuffing Fruit cocktail Sugar Fruit juices Syrup Helpers (hamburger and tuna) Tomatoes (diced or whole) Oatmeal Tomato Sauce Pancake mix Tuna Also, for the 15 th consecutive year, the Feinstein Foundation will divide $1 million among hunger 15
