Philosophy
DIRK BIKKEMBERGS — THE BRAND
Dirk Bikkembergs is the Belgian designer and the brand that
finds inspiration in the union between the sensuality of fashion
and the strength of sport. He is known as one of the ‘Antwerp
Six’, a group of avant-garde fashion designers who graduated
from the Royal Academy of Arts. His entire career has been
dedicated to fashion for the modern man and woman, who in
his vision, are strong and healthy.
In early 2012, the South African designer Hamish Morrow took
over the role of Creative Director from Dirk Bikkembergs to
supervise and coordinate the design of all the brand’s lines.
Traditionally inspired by the stylistic associations of luxury and
sport, tailored elegance and a high-tech spirit, he has been
given the task of reviewing and projecting the unique creative
heritage of the Belgian founder into the future.
