Firstly ensure that the surface is completely<br />

clean as the coating will not adhere to<br />

any form of dirt, or grease. The coating<br />

can be applied to moist fabrics. Spray the<br />

coating on to the surface from a distance<br />

of approximately 25cm ensuring that the<br />

surface is fully coated and moistened. Two<br />

spraying passes is normally sufficient. Wipe<br />

over the surface with a gloved hand, if over<br />

application causes pooling on the surface.<br />

This action will disperse the liquid. The<br />

coating becomes fully bonded after drying<br />

for 24hrs at room temperature. Warm air<br />

drying can be used.<br />

So what does Nano mean?<br />

A nanometer is a unit of measurement.1nm (nanometer) is one billionth of a metre.The name<br />

“Nano” comes from the Greek “Nanos” which means dwarf.<br />

Does our liquid glass contain any potentially harmful “nano” particles?<br />

No. Our coatings are recognised as being particle free. Our technology is based on molecular SiO , 2<br />

which is created via an adaptation of the Sol-Gel process.<br />

why can´t you see our treatment?<br />

Our thinnest coatings are approximately 100nm thick. This means that they are approximately<br />

500 times thinner than the a human hair and you need to use an electron microscope to see the<br />

coatings.<br />

So what exactly does the product contain?<br />

This truly amazing product contains pure, particle free, SiO (Silicon Dioxide) which means that it<br />

contains “pure glass”. The glass is in a molecular form and is held in a liquid; it does not become<br />

“glass” until it is allowed to dry. The glass in windows is not pure!<br />

So how does the nano coating work and what are the benefits?<br />

The liquid glass coating is a highly durable, flexible, super smooth, breathable and Super Phobic<br />

coating (=repels oil , water, and dry soiling). Dry dirt will not stick to treated surface. Most<br />

significantly, almost all treated surfaces can be cleaned with water alone. This means that in most<br />

instances environmentally damaging cleaning chemicals are not needed.<br />

When is the surface sufficiently coated?<br />

After applying the coating to the surface ensure that the whole of the surface is coated by working<br />

across the area. work quickly and in in a methodical manner. Over application results in a visble<br />

deposit which can be buffed off.<br />

How do I clean brushed stainless steel?<br />

Brushed stainless steel is often used for oven hoods, oven hobs and microwaves. During the<br />

manufacturing process a thin oily deposit is often left in place. Thorough cleaning is required in<br />

order to remove this coating. A micro-fibre cloth and a suitable detergent can be used prior to<br />

deep cleaning with the LIQUIGLAS ® cleaning wipe.<br />

Does the coating prevent the appearance of finger prints?<br />

The LIQUIGLAS ® coatings will not prevent finger prints from appearing on a surface but the finger<br />

prints are easily removed with a micro-fibre and warm water.<br />

Do I need to wipe the surface with a dry cloth after cleaning?<br />

To attain an “as good as new” appearance it is advisable wipe the surface with a dry cloth as this<br />

will remove water marks.<br />

Should I use a scourer to clean coated surfaces?<br />

Scouring agents and scouring pads will remove the coating.<br />

Should I use warm water or cold water to clean the surface?<br />

Cold water can be used but warm water will enhance the removal of fats and cooking deposits. It<br />

is advisable to let the water soften baked on cooking deposits before cleaning the surface.<br />

Is the coating suitable for all aluminium and stainless steel?<br />

It is important to note that occasionally aluminium is coated with a lacquer and so bonding to<br />

such surfaces may be less efficient (the LIQUIGLAS ® LIQUIGLAS<br />

Plastic, art. no. 447 should be used for these<br />

surfaces). Some stainless steel is highly polished. Optimal bonding to such surfaces can also be<br />

difficult to attain.<br />

agents must be removed from suede and leather<br />

LIQUIGLAS ® Textile and Leather is ideal for use<br />

on upholstery, mattresses, suits, car seats, ties,<br />

outdoor wear, work wear etc.<br />

Application: To achieve a long lasting effect all<br />

surfaces must be completely clean, stable and free<br />

of any coatings such as conditioners or silicones.<br />

Firstly test for colour fastness on an area that will<br />

be hidden from view.<br />

To apply LIQUIGLAS ® Textile and Leather spray<br />

the surface from a distance of approximately<br />

25cms. Ensure that the fabric is evenly and fully<br />

moistened but not “soaking wet”. (2-3 spraying<br />

passes, “wet on wet”, is usually sufficient for a SHOE<br />

medium thickness fabric such as a tie or blouse.<br />

Thicker fabrics normally require further spraying<br />

passes.) Disperse any over-application of the<br />

Warm air drying can be used. The coating can<br />

be ironed using a low temperature setting. Clean<br />

Are surfaces coated with LIQUIGLAS ® self cleaning?<br />

No, we offer“easy clean” technology. LIQUIGLAS ® has non-stick characteristics; similar to pans<br />

which are coated with non stick coatings.<br />

How long will the protection last?<br />

Every environment is different as some living spaces encounter heavy usage whilst others encounter<br />

far less “wear and tear.” The treatments are all very durable and they will last for many months<br />

or even years. we expect the hard surface coatings to last for at least 6 months in domestic<br />

environments.<br />

The beading effect has disappeared or become weaker - why?<br />

Either the coating has worn away after prolonged use or the surface needs to be cleaned in order<br />

to re expose the surface. wiping with pre cleaner or an alcohol cleaner will also rejuvenate the<br />

coating.<br />

Can the treatments be re applied?<br />

Re application follows the format used during the initial application process; simply make sure that<br />

the surface is completely clean , dry and free of contaminants such as washing powder residue, or<br />

detergents. Please read the section relating to “application”.<br />

Are the LIQUIGLAS ® coatings “food safe”?<br />

All of our coatings have been tested by independent agencies and are food safe.<br />

Are the LIQUIGLAS ® coatings Dermatologically tested?<br />

All of our products are subjected to dermatological testing.<br />

Are the LIQUIGLAS ® coatings heat tolerant?<br />

Liquid glass is stable between -150°C and +450°C.<br />

Can I apply LIQUIGLAS ® to any surface?<br />

Liquid Glass bonds to most surfaces via quantum forces. The coatings can’t be applied to oily<br />

woods, hybrid stone mixtures or non stick surfaces. There are no glues, resins or other chemicals<br />

within this product.<br />

Are LIQUIGLAS ® products environmentally friendly?<br />

Our technology is recognised as being of great significance in the battle to protect our planet.<br />

The technology has won several awards from leading “environmental” agencies.<br />

It should be remembered that in most instances treated surfaces can be cleaned with water alone<br />

based coating which provides an undetectable,<br />

not suitable for oily wood such as teak.<br />

Spray LIQUIGLAS ® Wood on to the surface<br />

achieve optimal preservation of wood, conduct<br />

2-3 spraying passes (wet on wet). Ensure that<br />

item can be handled when the surface is dry. Full<br />

temperature of 20°C.<br />

am häufi gsten vorkommenden Rohstoffe. Wie bei haushaltsüblichem<br />

Glas sind auch unsere Beschichtungen chemisch inert und sehr<br />

widerstandsfähig gegen Säuren, Laugen und Lösungsmittel. Aber<br />

trotz der Ähnlichkeit zu üblichem Glas sind die <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>®<br />

Beschichtungen doch erstaunlich unterschiedlich. Die Beschichtung<br />

ist fl exibel, atmungsaktiv, lang anhaltend, hitzebeständig, antimikrobiell,<br />

hat Anti-Haft-Eigenschaften und ist leicht zu reinigen.<br />

Dabei ist die Anwendung der <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® Produkte denkbar einfach.<br />

Nach einer sehr guten Vorreinigung können Gegenstände wie z.<br />

<strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® is an exceptional technology which is brought to<br />

you by a unique partnership between <strong>LiquiGlas</strong> Ltd of the UK and<br />

<strong>CCM</strong> GmbH of Germany. Together we are working with some of<br />

Germany’s leading R+D companies; these partner organisations<br />

specialise in the creation of “Ultra Thin SiO² Layering Technology”<br />

which is better known as Liquid Glass. SiO² technology, in its<br />

various forms, has won numerous awards but most signifi cantly<br />

it allows the end user to protect both industrial and domestic<br />

surfaces with a super durable coating of invisible, easy to clean,<br />

glass.<br />

In essence the technology allows the end user to deposit a nano<br />

scale layer of molecular, particle free glass, onto the surface of most<br />

items. The molecules of glass (silicon dioxide/SiO²) come from pure<br />

quartz sand, of which there are vast reserves, as silicon dioxide<br />

is one of the most abundant compounds on the planet. Just like<br />

domestic glass the coatings are chemically inert and highly resistant<br />

to acids. The coatings also offer resistance to alkalis and solvents;<br />

however, despite some similarities to standard glass the <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>®<br />

coatings are stunningly different. The layer is fl exible, breathable,<br />

highly durable, heat tolerant, anti-microbial and offers non stick<br />

and “easy clean” characteristics. The application of the <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>®<br />

range of products is amazingly straight forward. After preparatory<br />

cleaning, items such as wash basins, windscreens, and fabrics can be<br />

coated in a matter of seconds. Signifi cantly most coated surfaces<br />

can be cleaned with water alone, this of course massively reduces<br />

the use of environmentally damaging cleaning products.<br />

LIQUID GLASS TECHNOLOGY<br />

Alles begann 1845 in Paris, als J.J. Ebelmen, ein französischer<br />

Wissenschaftler, als erster den „Sol-Gel-Prozess“ entdeckte, der<br />

einfach ausgedrückt besagte, dass man „durch Manipulation einer<br />

Flüssigkeit, die Kieselsäure enthält, Glas erschaffen konnte“. Dies<br />

war eine wirklich interessante Entdeckung, zu dieser Zeit aber sehr<br />

theoretisch und das einzige, was in der Praxis am Ende übrig blieb,<br />

waren „Klumpen aus Glas“. Der nächste wichtige Entwicklungsschritt<br />

kam 1939, als die deutsche Firma Schott Glaswerke begann,<br />

die Technologie weiter zu entwickeln. Nach 20 Jahren weiterer Forschung<br />

konnten dann die ersten Gegenstände mit SiO2 beschichtet<br />

werden. Dieser Prozess war aber immer noch sehr komplex<br />

und teuer. Und während sich die Welt auf die Computerrevolution,<br />

die Weltraum- und Gen-Technik konzentrierte,<br />

wurde die „Flüssigglas-Technologie“<br />

in Deutschland weiter entwickelt und es wurden<br />

Produkte kreiert, die einfach anzuwenden<br />

und aufzutragen waren. Ziel war es, eine unsichtbare<br />

Schicht zu erzeugen, die nahezu<br />

jede Oberfl äche schützen und deren Eigenschaften<br />

verbessern kann. Nach der Jahrtausendwende<br />

waren diese Art von Beschichtungen<br />

dann erstmals marktreif. Wir sind<br />

stolz, das wir von Anfang an mit dabei waren,<br />

diese Technologie in vielen Märkten mit einzuführen.<br />

ADVANCED LIQUID GLASS TECHNOLOGY<br />

It all started in Paris in 1845, when J.J. Ebelmen, a French<br />

scientist fi rst discovered the Sol Gel process. In simple terms, he<br />

discovered that by manipulating a liquid which contained silica he<br />

could create glass. This was a very interesting theoretical discovery<br />

but at this time all that he was left with was small lumps of glass<br />

which were of no specifi c use. The next major step came in 1939<br />

when the Schott Glaswerke company of Germany started to reexamine<br />

the technology. After a further 20 years of research they<br />

started to produce the fi rst items coated with * SiO² ; however the<br />

processes were still complex and expensive. Evidently continued<br />

R+D was called for! Whilst the world was focussing on the<br />

space race, the computer revolution and the genome<br />

projects, the scientifi c community in Germany was<br />

creating “liquid glass technology” which could be<br />

applied on a DIY basis. The target being, to<br />

1. Initially clean the surface to remove any heavy soiling such as fats and soap residues.<br />

Rinse or wipe down the surface with clean water and then dry the surface.<br />

Spray LIQUIGLAS ® pre cleaner on the surface and thoroughly clean the area with a clean<br />

cloth or tissue. (It is advisable to wear gloves as a fingerprint can be 100 times thicker<br />

than the coating.) The surface is now residue-free and the prepared for the application of<br />

LIQUIGLAS ® pre cleaner.<br />

2. Spray LIQUIGLAS ® Glass & Ceramic on the clean surface or onto a suitable low absorbency<br />

wipe and ensure full coverage by wiping the liquid over the whole surface. (3ml<br />

per m² is an approximate coverage rate) After 2 minutes finish the application by gently<br />

buffing the surface for a few seconds. The surface is now coated with a dirt-repelling and<br />

glass. Ideal for use on training shoes, fabric<br />

basket ball shoes, suede shoes, non coated/<br />

polished leather, handbags etc. The multi SHOE<br />

award winning technology is easy to apply.<br />

Firstly ensure that the surface is completely<br />

clean as the coating will not adhere to PROTECTION<br />

any form of dirt, or grease. The coating<br />

can be applied to moist fabrics. Spray the<br />

coating on to the surface from a distance<br />

of approximately 25cm ensuring that the<br />

surface is fully coated and moistened. Two<br />

spraying passes is normally sufficient. Wipe<br />

The seat can be cleaned with warm water and a cloth or disposable tissue; however despite<br />

offering highly effective background anti microbial protection there are circumstances in which<br />

additional disinfection may be necessary.<br />

Will cleaning products damage the coating?<br />

Standard non abrasive domestic cleaning products will not damage the coating. Do not use any<br />

abrasive pads or abrasive cleaning agents on coated surfaces.<br />

The beading effect has disappeared or become weaker - why?<br />

Either the coating has worn away after prolonged use or the surface needs to be cleaned in order<br />

to re expose the surface. Wiping with pre cleaner or an alcohol cleaner will also rejuvenate the<br />

Wood For<br />

wood against moisture,<br />

mould, soiling abrasion,<br />

and bacteria. Ideal for use on<br />

Saunas, doors, art works, garden<br />

furniture, tables, toys and much<br />

more. LIQUIGLAS ® Wood is a water<br />

based coating which provides an undetectable,<br />

flexible and breathable glass coating which can<br />

be applied in seconds to clean stable wooden<br />

surfaces. It can be applied to moist wood but it is<br />

not suitable for oily wood such as teak.<br />

Application:<br />

Spray LIQUIGLAS ® Wood on to the surface<br />

from a distance of approximately 25cm. To<br />

achieve optimal preservation of wood, conduct<br />

2-3 spraying passes (wet on wet). Ensure that<br />

the whole surface is fully moistened. The coated<br />

item can be handled when the surface is dry. Full<br />

curing takes approximately 24hrs at an ambient<br />

temperature of 20°C.<br />

NOTE:<br />

Please note that some wood will continue to<br />

dry and or swell even after the application of<br />

the coating. The manufacturer accepts no liability<br />

for any deformation or adverse performance<br />

characteristics of the coated wood. The coating<br />

is heat tolerant (tolerant to temperatures in the<br />

rage -150 to +450°C) but it is important to note<br />

that the underlying wood may react to hot items<br />

which are placed on the surface.<br />

eyes. Do not drink. If swallowed, seek medical<br />

advice immediately and show this container and<br />

label. Do not inhale atomized spray. Please use<br />

LIQUIGLAS ®<br />

LIQUIGLAS ® Stone is ready to use and can<br />

be sprayed directly on to the surface.<br />

Coverage: Up to 10 m 2 , depending on the<br />

porosity and surface area of the stone.<br />

Application: The surface must be completely<br />

clean and stable. The application is very<br />

simple. Spray the surface from a distance of<br />

approximately 25 cm ensuring that the surface is<br />

evenly moistened. (2 to 3 passes ensuring “wet<br />

on wet” coverage is recommended.) If pooling<br />

occurs simply wipe the surface to disperse<br />

the liquid. The coating becomes fully cured<br />

after 24hrs; when the ambient temperature<br />

is approximately 20°C. Warm air drying can<br />

be used. The coating can be used lightly when<br />

the surface is touch dry. The coating can be<br />

applied to moist stone. Do not apply when the<br />

temperature is going to drop below 5°C within<br />

the next 24hrs. The coating is highly durable but<br />

abrasion will occur on floors or contact areas.<br />

To re apply to these areas-Thoroughly clean<br />

the surface and then re apply. If necessary wipe<br />

over the re treated area to disperse any liquid<br />

which beads on the surface. Cleaning the coated<br />

surface. In most instances the surface can be<br />

cleaned with warm water and a soft brush. Low<br />

pressure power washers (max 60 bar) can be<br />

used. For glazed tiles please use LIQUIGLAS ®<br />

Glass and Ceramic.<br />

Does the coating prevent the appearance of finger prints?<br />

The LIQUIGLAS ® coatings will not prevent finger prints from appearing on a surface but the finger<br />

prints are easily removed with a micro-fibre and warm water.<br />

Do I need to wipe the surface with a dry cloth after cleaning?<br />

To attain an “as good as new” appearance it is advisable wipe the surface with a dry cloth as this<br />

will remove water marks.<br />

Should I use a scourer to clean coated surfaces?<br />

Scouring agents and scouring pads will remove the coating.<br />

Should I use warm water or cold water to clean the surface?<br />

Cold water can be used but warm water will enhance the removal of fats and cooking deposits. It<br />

is advisable to let the water soften baked on cooking deposits before cleaning the surface.<br />

Is the coating suitable for all aluminium and stainless steel?<br />

It is important to note that occasionally aluminium is coated with a lacquer and so bonding to<br />

such surfaces may be less efficient (the LIQUIGLAS ® The beading effect has disappeared or become weaker - why?<br />

Either the coating has worn away after prolonged use or the surface needs to be cleaned in order<br />

to re expose the surface. wiping with pre cleaner or an alcohol cleaner will also rejuvenate the<br />

The coating conforms to food safety regulations EU-VO 1935 / 2004<br />

Can I treat my deep fryer?<br />

The coating can be used but the unit should be cleaned after use.<br />

Can the coating be used on self cleaning ovens?<br />

Some self cleaning ovens work at temperatures which exceed the 450°C working<br />

temperature of LIQUIGLAS ® .Please check manufacturers instructions. Most ovens have a<br />

maximum working temperature of approximately 300°C.<br />

Do I need to clean the oven on a regular basis?<br />

When possible you are advised to clean the oven after use as this will prevent build up and<br />

“bake-on” of cooking spills. This will make cleaning quicker and easier.<br />

Der Name Nano kommt aus dem Griechischen und bedeutet Zwerg.<br />

Enthalten die Flüssigkeiten Partikel, deren Auswirkungen auf den Körper<br />

noch nicht vollständig erforscht sind?<br />

Nein, wir erzeugen unsere ultradünnen SiO 2 (=Glas) Schichten durch<br />

einen „nass-chemischen“ Prozess, den man auch „Sol-Gel-Prozess“ nennt.<br />

Warum kann man die Beschichtung nicht sehen?<br />

Unsere dünnsten Beschichtungen sind ungefähr 100nm (Nanometer)<br />

dünn, also ca. 500 x dünner als ein menschliches Haar, liegen unter dem<br />

Wellenbereich des Lichts und werden deshalb nicht wahrgenommen.<br />

Woraus besteht das Flüssigglas-Produkt also genau?<br />

Dieses wirklich erstaunliche Produkt enthält reines partikel-freies SiO 2<br />

(Silizium-Dioxid), also „reines Glas“, das in der Flüssigkeit enthalten ist. Es<br />

wird so lange nicht zu Glas, bis es nach dem Aufsprühen trocknen kann.<br />

Selbst eine Glasscheibe ist kein so reines Glas wie dieses Produkt!<br />

Was sind die Eigenschaften und Vorteile der Flüssigglas-Beschichtung?<br />

Die Flüssigglas-Beschichtung ist sehr langlebig, fl exibel, atmungsaktiv und<br />

macht die Oberfl äche sehr glatt. Sie ist „super phobic“, das heißt wirksam<br />

gegen Wasser und Öl. Trockener Schmutz haftet nicht und Flüssigkeiten<br />

wie z.B. Rotwein oder Kaffee können etwa bei Textilien nicht in die Faser<br />

eindringen. Das Wichtigste ist aber, dass veredelte Oberfl ächen nur noch<br />

mit Wasser gereinigt werden können und keine chemischen Reiniger<br />

mehr benötigen, die zum großen Teil schädlich für unsere Umwelt sind.<br />

Wann ist die Oberfl äche ausreichend benetzt?<br />

Nach Aufbringen der Beschichtungslösung und gleichmäßigem Verreiben<br />

mit einem sauberen Tuch erkennt man ein Zusammenziehen der<br />

Beschichtungslösung auf der Oberfl äche. Dies ist ein Anzeichen dafür,<br />

dass die Oberfl äche ausreichend benetzt ist.<br />

Was ist zu tun, wenn es bei der Beschichtung zu Fleckenbildung kommt?<br />

Frische Flecken entfernt man mit einem Tuch. Bereits eingetrocknete<br />

Flecken können mit einem feuchten Tuch entfernt werden. Bei<br />

vorschriftsmäßiger Beschichtung wie in der Anwendung beschrieben<br />

können keine Flecken entstehen.<br />

Ist die <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® Veredlung selbstreinigend?<br />

Nein, denn es gibt keine selbstreinigenden Oberfl ächen. Die <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>®<br />

Veredelung besitzt eine Antihafteigenschaft, wodurch Flüssigkeiten<br />

abperlen. Dadurch fällt weniger Schmutz an, der außerdem leichter<br />

entfernt werden kann. Dies erfolgt nach einem ähnlichen Prinzip, wie man<br />

es von Tefl on ® Pfannen kennt.<br />

Wie lange ist die Veredelung haltbar?<br />

Die Veredelung ist sehr lange haltbar, je nach Oberfl äche und<br />

Beanspruchung viele Monate oder sogar Jahre.<br />

Der Abperleffekt ist verschwunden bzw. schwächer geworden - was ist<br />

zu tun?<br />

Die Oberfl äche ist verschmutzt. In diesem Falle einfach die Fläche mit<br />

einem alkoholischen Reiniger reinigen, der Abperleffekt ist wieder<br />

vorhanden.<br />

So what does Nano mean?<br />

A nanometer is a unit of measurement.1nm (nanometer) is one billionth<br />

of a metre.The name comes from the Greek „Nanos“ which means<br />

dwarf.<br />

Does our liquid glass contain any potentially harmful “nano” particles?<br />

No. Our coatings are recognised as being particle free. Our technology is<br />

based on molecular SiO 2 , which is created via an adaptation of the „Sol-<br />

Gel process“<br />

Why can‘t you see our treatment?<br />

Our thinnest coatings are approximately 100nm thick. This means that<br />

they are approximately 500 times thinner than a human hair; and you<br />

need to use an electron microscope to see the coatings.<br />

So what exactly does the product contain?<br />

This truly amazing product contains pure, particle free, SiO 2 (Silicon<br />

Dioxide) which means that it contains “pure glass”. The glass is in a<br />

molecular form and is held in a liquid; it does not become “glass” until it<br />

is allowed to dry. The glass in windows is not pure!<br />

So how does the nano coating work and what are the benefi ts?<br />

The liquid glass coating is a highly durable, fl exible, super smooth,<br />

breathable and super phobic coating (=repels oil , water, and dry soiling).<br />

Dry dirt will not stick to treated surface and liquids such as red wine or<br />

coffee, are unable to penetrate the coating on fabrics as each fi lament of<br />

every fi bre is protected with a nano scale layer of glass. Most signifi cantly,<br />

almost all treated surfaces can be cleaned with water alone. This means<br />

that in most instances environmentally damaging cleaning chemicals are<br />

not needed.<br />

When is the surface suffi ciently coated?<br />

After applying the coating to the surface ensure that the whole of the<br />

surface is coated by working across the area.Work quickly and in a<br />

methodical manner. Over application results in a visble deposit which can<br />

be buffed off.<br />

Can I remove spills and staining?<br />

Liquid spills can be removed from coated fabrics by mopping with a dry<br />

tissue. Already dried stains can be removed by sponging with a damp<br />

cloth.<br />

Are surfaces coated with <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® self cleaning?<br />

No, because at the moment self cleaning technology is not effi cient, if it<br />

truly exists. We offer „easy clean“ technology. <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® has a nonstick<br />

characteristics. This is similar to items coated with Tefl on ® .<br />

How long will the protection last?<br />

Every environment is different as some living spaces encounter heavy<br />

usage whilst others encounter far less “wear and tear.” The treatments<br />

are all very durable and they will last for many months or even years. We<br />

expect the hard surface coatings to last for at least 6 months in domestic<br />

environments.<br />

The beading effect has disappeared or become weaker - why?<br />

Either the coating has worn away after prolonged use or the surface<br />

needs to be cleaned in order to re expose the surface. Wiping with pre-<br />

cleaner or an alcohol cleaner will also rejuvenate the coating.<br />

Beschädigte Stellen können problemlos repariert werden, indem sie<br />

erneut mit der <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® Veredelung behandelt werden wie in der<br />

Anwendung beschrieben.<br />

Sind die <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® Produkte lebensmittelecht?<br />

Ja. Alle unsere Produkte sind daraufhin von unabhängigen Laboren<br />

getestet.<br />

Sind die <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® Produkte hitzebeständig?<br />

Ja, von -25°C bis 300°C.<br />

Kann ich die <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® Produkte auf allen Oberfl ächen anwenden, für<br />

die sie gedacht sind?<br />

Ja. Flüssigglas verbindet sich mit den Oberfl ächen als stabiler<br />

Oberfl ächenschutz. Es enthält keinen Kleber, Harze oder sonstige<br />

chemische Inhaltsstoffe.<br />

Sind die <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® Produkte umweltfreundlich?<br />

Ja. Unsere Technologie ist weltweit anerkannt als bedeutend im Kampf<br />

zum Erhalt der Erde und die SiO² Technologie hat bereits bereits<br />

mehrere Umweltpreise internationaler Umweltorganisationen gewonnen.<br />

Ein Aspekt ist dabei, dass veredelte Oberfl ächen nur noch mit reinem<br />

Wasser gereinigt werden können und damit weniger chemische Reiniger<br />

Anwendung fi nden und die Umwelt dadurch erheblich entlastet wird.<br />

Can the treatments be reapplied?<br />

Reapplication follows the format used during the initial application<br />

process; simply make sure that the surface is completely clean, dry and<br />

free of contaminants such as washing powder residue or detergents.<br />

Are the <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® coatings “food safe”?<br />

All of our coatings have been tested by independent agencies and are<br />

food safe.<br />

Are the <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® coatings heat tolerant?<br />

Liquid glass is stable between temperatures in the range -25°C to<br />

+300°C.<br />

Can I apply <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® to any surface?<br />

Liquid glass bonds to most surfaces via quantum forces. The coatings<br />

can‘t be applied to oily woods, hybrid stone mixtures or non stick<br />

surfaces. There are no glues, resins or other chemicals within this<br />

product.<br />

Are <strong>LiquiGlas</strong>® products environmentally friendly?<br />

Our technology is recognised as being of great signifi cance in the battle<br />

to protect our planet. SiO² technology has won several awards from<br />

leading “environmental” agencies. It should be remembered that in most<br />

instances treated surfaces can be cleaned with water alone this means<br />

that a vast amount of POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) such as<br />

detergents will no longer damage the eco system.<br />
