A Question for All Returning Families –
Six groups worked with a goal of earning the most points while participating
in a variety of exercises at the May 18th leadership retreat. Paired
with an adult judge, the teams could earn additional points for following
instructions, good time management, and working well as a team. The
teams could also be assessed penalty points for violating rules, not following
instructions, or failing to pay attention to details.
When all was said and done, it was Mrs. Tolland’s group who earned the
most points. Each member was rewarded with a Chick-fil-A gift card for
their leadership success! Congratulations to Enzo Boden, Emily Wright,
Samantha Collins, Alex Howell, Amanda McCarthy, Logan Jungwirth,
Oahn Troung, Christina Lathpakdy, Lara Mirante, and Michael Ringlehan.

Have you completed your registration forms and fee payment, established tuition and payments, and set your class schedule
for 2011-2012?
By now, all of our current Lopez families with students attending FLCHS in 2011-2012 should have completed the student registration
process. Here’s the checklist.
� Registration Form
� Tuition & Payment Form – Including the registration fee of $350 or $500 (single student or family). Please direct any
questions regarding tuition, payments, and tuition assistance information to the Business Manager, Karen Lloyd, at
klloyd@fatherlopez.org or (386) 255-6556, ext. 306.
� Tuition & Payment form provides us with documentation on your family, your tuition rate, and indicates the
person financially responsible for the tuition – this must include the person’s signature. If more than one person
is financially responsible for tuition, please note this on the form and provide signatures for each person.
� Re-enrolled or enrolled for Smart Tuition’s installment plan – if you are paying for the full year’s tuition, you
will not need to do this. We ask that all families not paying in full to please use this service. By doing so, you
help keep our administrative costs down. If you are unable to use the service, please contact Karen Lloyd.
� Tuition Assistance: For those families applying for tuition assistance, by using Smart Tuition Aid, we should
have contacted you with the awarded assistance amount by now. If you have not been contacted, please contact
Karen Lloyd and she will provide you with your assistance information. If you need to make your registration
payment in two payments, please contact Karen Lloyd.
� Step Up For Students and McKay Scholarship: These two programs, administered by the Florida Department
of Education, are in the process of notifying families about their approval for the program. Please notify Karen
Lloyd when you receive this confirmation/approval.
� Medical and Emergency Information Form
� Parish Verification Form (for Catholic families) – must be signed before being turned in
� Family Service Hours Form
� Class Schedule – All students enrolled for 2010-2011 completed their course requests in the spring.
All of the forms listed above are available at the school’s office or on the school’s website (www.FatherLopez.org). If your
child is not re-enrolling for 2011-2012, please notify us. Our summer office hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and
Friday, 8 a.m. – Noon. We operate with a small support staff during the summer; we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Fingerprinting and Safe Environment Training Required Before Volunteering
Per Diocesan policy, all volunteers must have both cleared fingerprints and completed Safe Environment Training on file
with the main office before they may begin volunteering. The Safe Environment
Test and the appointment setting for fingerprinting are both done online. Our
Lady of Hope is the fingerprinting location closest to the school but prints can
be done at the location of your choice within the Diocese of Orlando (the list
will come up online as you go through the process). Background clearances are
good for five years.
