Brno a.s., <strong>the</strong> company <strong>of</strong> ELTODO dopravní systémy<br />
s.r.o. prepares detailed documentation for <strong>the</strong> technological<br />
part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Klimkovice Tunnel on <strong>the</strong> construction <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Moravian Silesian Highway D47. Construction <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> tunnel<br />
is completed in <strong>20</strong>06. Through an agreement with Metrostav,<br />
a.s., we won <strong>the</strong> contract for <strong>the</strong> complete supply <strong>of</strong> tunnel<br />

Order for Liberec<br />
The contract for <strong>the</strong> Liberec company ELTODO-CITELUM,<br />
s.r.o., won a long-term contract (15 <strong>years</strong>) to ensure <strong>the</strong> operation,<br />
administration, maintenance<br />
and modernization<br />
<strong>of</strong> public lighting in <strong>the</strong> city <strong>of</strong><br />
Liberec. The contract includes<br />
<strong>the</strong> management, operation,<br />
maintenance and modernization<br />
<strong>of</strong> traffic lights and <strong>the</strong><br />
construction <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r transportation<br />
solutions, including<br />
navigation to parking areas<br />
and building a central transportation<br />
hub.<br />

New lighting for Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky)<br />
In connection with <strong>the</strong> construction<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Palladium<br />
business center, extensive repair<br />
<strong>of</strong> Republic Square took<br />
place, including <strong>the</strong> reconstruction<br />
<strong>of</strong> public lighting in<br />
this part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> historic center<br />
<strong>of</strong> Prague. New lampposts for<br />
street lighting were, in addition<br />
to Republic Square, also<br />
installed in parts <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> street<br />
Na Poříčí and at <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong><br />
Truhlářská Street. Replicas <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> original lighting poles from<br />
<strong>the</strong> middle 19th and early <strong>20</strong>th<br />
century were carefully selected<br />
for this site from <strong>the</strong> EL-<br />
TODO workshops.<br />

Panenská Tunnel on Highway D8<br />
was put into operation<br />
The delivery <strong>of</strong> tunnel technology was contributed to by EL-<br />
TODO EG, a.s. for <strong>the</strong> launch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> operation <strong>of</strong> Panenská<br />
Tunnel, <strong>the</strong> longest Czech roadway tunnel with a length <strong>of</strong><br />
over 2 km. It is located near<br />
<strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> D8 Motorway at<br />
<strong>the</strong> last section from Trmice at<br />
<strong>the</strong> state border with Germany.<br />

On 31. January, <strong>the</strong> ELTODO dopravní systémy s.r.o. company<br />
and <strong>the</strong> Technical management <strong>of</strong> roadways <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
capital city <strong>of</strong> Prague (TSK)<br />
signed an agreement on <strong>the</strong><br />
maintenance, rehabilitation,<br />
and supply <strong>of</strong> equipment for<br />
traffic management in Prague.<br />
The contract was signed for<br />
15 <strong>years</strong>, its value is 4.4 billion<br />
Czech Crowns, and <strong>the</strong><br />

On 12 April, <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong> gas lamps in <strong>the</strong> center <strong>of</strong> Prague<br />
expanded to include 182 more,<br />
on <strong>the</strong> streets <strong>of</strong> Železná and<br />
Rytířská. As part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> festive<br />
lighting <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> historic lantern<br />
replicas, deputy mayor <strong>of</strong><br />
Prague Pavel Klega, who has<br />
focused on <strong>the</strong> support <strong>of</strong> gas<br />
lighting in <strong>the</strong> center <strong>of</strong> Prague<br />
for several <strong>years</strong>, reiterated<br />
that <strong>the</strong> objective <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> municipality<br />
is to install gas lamps<br />
along <strong>the</strong> entire Royal Path all<br />
