TUAL Plus, a.s., ELTODO Parking
s.r.o., Kates spol. s.r.o. and
ELEXA spol. s.r.o. ceased to
exist. The business activities of
these companies were fully assumed
by the parent company.

On the basis of a cooperation agreement, a contract for
work was closed with the TAISEI company, and we became
a supplier for complete tunnel equipment of the SITINA Tunnel
in Bratislava.

ELTODO Národní dům s.r.o. was founded, and on 21.07 a
contract was signed for the reconstruction and completion
of the National House in Karlovy Vary.

A contract was signed with the subsidiary company Strabag
to supply complete tunnel technology, traffic light signalization,
road signs and street lighting in the construction area
of Lahovice – Slivenec, Ring Road around Prague.

We become the sole owner of ELTODO MIS-ELEKTROTECH-
NIKA, s.r.o. and change the business name to ELTODO Ostrava,
s.r.o.

We receive an order as part of the project ”Building electronic
tolls”‘ given by the Czech Ministry of Transport, the
supplier of which is Kapsch. The task of ELTODO is primarily
to ensure the complete design and engineering activities associated
with the construction and subsequent connection
system of toll gates on the engineering network.

Under an agreement with the company AMBERG Engineering
Brno a.s., the company of ELTODO dopravní systémy
s.r.o. prepares detailed documentation for the technological
part of the Klimkovice Tunnel on the construction of the
Moravian Silesian Highway D47. Construction of the tunnel
is completed in 2006. Through an agreement with Metrostav,
a.s., we won the contract for the complete supply of tunnel
technology – assembly takes place in 2007.

Order for Liberec
The contract for the Liberec company ELTODO-CITELUM,
s.r.o., won a long-term contract (15 years) to ensure the operation,
administration, maintenance
and modernization
of public lighting in the city of
Liberec. The contract includes
the management, operation,
maintenance and modernization
of traffic lights and the
construction of other transportation
solutions, including
navigation to parking areas
and building a central transportation
hub.

New lighting for Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky)
In connection with the construction
of the Palladium
business center, extensive repair
of Republic Square took
place, including the reconstruction
of public lighting in
this part of the historic center
of Prague. New lampposts for
street lighting were, in addition
to Republic Square, also
installed in parts of the street
Na Poříčí and at the end of
Truhlářská Street. Replicas of
the original lighting poles from
the middle 19th and early 20th
century were carefully selected
for this site from the EL-
TODO workshops.

Panenská Tunnel on Highway D8
was put into operation
The delivery of tunnel technology was contributed to by EL-
TODO EG, a.s. for the launch of the operation of Panenská
Tunnel, the longest Czech roadway tunnel with a length of
over 2 km. It is located near
the end of the D8 Motorway at
the last section from Trmice at
the state border with Germany.
The tunnel is two-way with
two separate tubes which are
connected with nine safety
passages at about every
200 meters.

We provide traffic lights in Prague
On 31. January, the ELTODO dopravní systémy s.r.o. company
and the Technical management of roadways of the
capital city of Prague (TSK)
signed an agreement on the
maintenance, rehabilitation,
and supply of equipment for
traffic management in Prague.
The contract was signed for
15 years, its value is 4.4 billion
Czech Crowns, and the
major subcontractors to the
EDS company are Corporate
Signalbau Huber CZ s.r.o. and
AZD Praha s.r.o.

Gas Lighting: All the Way to the Castle
On 12 April, the number of gas lamps in the center of Prague
expanded to include 182 more,
on the streets of Železná and
Rytířská. As part of the festive
lighting of the historic lantern
replicas, deputy mayor of
Prague Pavel Klega, who has
focused on the support of gas
lighting in the center of Prague
for several years, reiterated
that the objective of the municipality
is to install gas lamps
along the entire Royal Path all

Preference for public transport in Olomouc
In the presence of city and
Eltodo representatives, the
launch of the operation of
a public preference system for
public transport in Olomouc
was celebrated. Contracts
awarded in a two-round tender
process were implemented
by ELTODO dopravní systémy
s.r.o. The system allows for
the localization and identification
of buses and trams via
GPS and the transmission of
service information for passengers,
which appears on the information
panels located at the
so-called ‚intelligent stops‘.
