Fixturlaser XA Ultimate – The Ultimate Measurement Instrument The laser based measurement instrument, Fixturlaser XA Ultimate, delivers the optimal solution for any maintenance or service professional that faces challenges in his machine maintenance work on a regular basis. CONFIGURATION MEASUREMENT ADJUSTMENT FEATURES Fixturlaser XA Ultimate Some new features relating to the geometry applications are: DRAG AND RELEASE Best Fit: You have the option to allow the system to calculate a reference line or plane, which illustrates the best fit, i.e. the least deviation for each measurement point in relation to the reference line or plane that has the least deviation of the measurement points. The Touch and Release: The system gives you full freedom to record your measurements in any order you want. The touch and release function makes it easy to select the point to measure. Touch the screen, slide your finger across the display and release the finger at the point you want to measure. Together with the color screen and the graphical interface you can very quickly maneuver in your configuration even if many measuring points have to be registered. WIRELESS COLOR SCREEN TOUCH SCREEN Express Navigation: When you select which points to measure, you will find that the highlighted measurement point is surrounded by its neighbor points enabling you to choose them without exiting the measurement point screen. Use of Reference Receiver: With an additional receiver, you can use it as a reference receiver and zero it at the start of the measurement process. You are then able to control, without exiting the measurement screen, that the transmitter has not been moved during the actual measurement, which would cause incorrect measurement values. WIRELESS COLOR SCREEN Our latest addition to the Express Alignment family, Fixturlaser GO Pro is a wireless product with several useful features. The Fixturlaser GO Pro’s most innovative feature is its unique adaptive user interface, combined with the function Compound Moves. The Fixturlaser GO Pro will recommend you how to proceed depending on the measurement result. First it will recommend you to save the measurement result, regardless of the result. Then, if the machine is within tolerance, the Fixturlaser GO Pro will recommend you to exit the measurement. Compound Moves If the machine is misaligned, however, you will be recommended to go to a shims result view, i.e. the Fixturlaser GO Pro calculates how much you need to remove or add shims in order to adjust the machine vertically. When moving on to horizontal alignment, the system goes live and will deliver real time values during the adjustment phase. No remeasurements in between adjustments are necessary, as you are never in doubt of the machine’s true position. Hence, with the Fixturlaser GO Pro you cannot go wrong. Adaptive interface! The shims result view appears if the measurement values are out of tolerance. In the picture above, the shims values indicate how much you need to remove or add shims in order to achieve precision alignment.
