MAINTENANCE OF VARIETIES ON THE NATIONAL LISTS<br />

6. <strong>The</strong> maintainers of varieties entered on the National Lists are reminded of their responsibilities under the<br />

provisions of Regulation 7 of the <strong>Seeds</strong> (National Lists of <strong>Varieties</strong>) Regulations 2001(as amended). <strong>The</strong>y<br />

are asked to check the information provided in this <strong>Gazette</strong> <strong>and</strong> inform the <strong>Food</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Environment</strong><br />

Research Agency (Fera), Whitehouse Lane, Huntingdon Road, Cambridge CB3 OLF, of any amendments<br />

which should be made to the National Lists <strong>and</strong>, where applicable, to the Common Catalogue. <strong>The</strong><br />

maintainers are also requested to notify Fera of any varieties which are no longer being maintained.<br />

COMMON CATALOGUE<br />

7. <strong>The</strong> last Complete edition of the EC Common Catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species was<br />

published on 14 December 2010 (29th edition) taking into account all amendments up to 13 November<br />

2010.<br />

8. Ploidy is indicated in the column headed classification by the letter “D” (Diploid) or “T” (Tetraploid).<br />
