note 8. supeRannuation<br />

<strong>Film</strong> <strong>Victoria</strong> has made employer contributions on behalf of its employees during 2008/09 to the following<br />

defined contribution plans:<br />

vic super<br />

Employer contributions paid to the Vic Super scheme in 2008/09 amount to $187,284 (2007/08 $157,562).<br />

Contributions outstanding as at 30 June 2009 were nil (2008: nil).<br />

other<br />

Employer contributions paid to other various schemes in 2008/09 amount to $134,232 (2007/08 $80,566).<br />

Contributions outstanding as at 30 June 2009 were nil (2008: nil).<br />

<strong>Film</strong> <strong>Victoria</strong> recognises all superannuation contributions for the reporting period as expense, included as part<br />

of the employee benefits in the Comprehensive Operating Statement.<br />

note 9. accumulated suRplus<br />

The Accumulated surplus total of $4,798,810 as at 30 June 2009 represents expenditure that has been allocated<br />

to various programs, but has yet to be expended.<br />

note 10. leases<br />

disclosures for lessees – operating leases<br />

Operating leases are with respect to office space at 189 Flinders Lane, Melbourne and minor related office equipment.<br />
