1) The carriage of The carriage of Aluminium ferrosilicone powder UN 1395, Aluminium silicon powder UN
1398, Calcium silicide UN 1405 and Ferrosilicon UN 1408 when transported in bulk packagings,in containers,
road vehicles or rail wagons, tank containers or demountable tanks is allowed only when
accompanied by a certificate stating that the material was stored under cover, but in the
open air, and that the particle size is representative of the material stored.
If the stowage of dangerous goods is prohibited according to or not covered by this table,
but is permitted under the provisions of the IMDG Code, the stowage requirements of the
IMDG Code may be applied instead.

1) When class 1 or flammable gases or liquids having a flashpoint below 23 C are carried on deck 3 , the non
Ex electrical equipment shall be securely isolated by the lockable swith located in the cargo office.
2) Refrigerated gases of ADR or of stowage category "D" IMDG are prohibited.
Units with max 19m length carrying dangerous goods ON DECK ONLY can be stowed on deck 7 exept
flammable goods that may be stowed on deck 3.
If the stowage of dangerous goods is prohibited according to or not covered by this table,
but is permitted under the provisions of the IMDG Code, the stowage requirements of the
IMDG Code may be applied instead.

2) For the stowage of these substances, chapter 7.7 of the IMDG Code shall be complied with in addition to the
provisions of ADR ( Temperature control )

NB. Electrically operated refrigeration or heating equipment fitted to any CTU stowed in a closed
ro-ro space shall not be operated when flammable gases or liquids having a flashpoint of less than
23°C c.c. IMDG 7.4.5.13
