Como parte de la Feria de Muebles de Milan 2008 “Salone del Mobile”,<br />
Armani/Casa presenta una opción original de espacio vital. El Armani/Teatro<br />
creado para ofrecer una experiencia de sofisticación y belleza, comprendida<br />
por el acercamiento típicamente lineal y racional que caracteriza el diseño<br />
estético de Armani. Como siempre el énfasis se enfoca sobre la evocación del<br />
humor, explorado este año contrastes entre el claro y oscuro - entre marfil y<br />
negro, entre materias primas naturales y otras opciones con fines sofisticados,<br />
lisos al tacto, la revista ilustrada aparentemente (como el ébano Macassar o la<br />
madera laqueada, se presentan con un nuevo punto de vista plisada de negro<br />
brillante). En este lujoso espectáculo mobiliario (sofás, camas, los bancos<br />
esculpidos) se toma el centro de atracción, impresionándonos desde cualquier<br />
perspectiva.<br />

As part of Milan’s 2008 Furniture Fair (Salone del Mobile) Armani/Casa presents<br />
an original view of the living space. The Armani/Teatro will be transformed to<br />
create a setting conceived to deliver an experience of sophistication and beauty,<br />
realised through the typically linear and rational approach that characterises<br />
the Armani design aesthetic. As always the emphasis will be placed on the<br />
evocation of mood, explored this year through contrasts between light and dark<br />
– between ivory white and black, between natural raw materials and other<br />
options with sophisticated finishes, smooth to the touch and glossy in appearance<br />
(such as Macassar ebony or lacquered wood, sometimes presented with a<br />
new glossy black pleated-look finish). In this rich and expanded show setting,<br />
the furnishings (sofas, beds, sculpted benches) take centre stage, acting as focal<br />
points to be regarded from every perspective.
