Traintastic Chuggington is pulling into Bachmann! Based on the popular TV series
Chuggington that airs weekdays on Disney Channel’s Disney Junior programming block
for kids and their families, and daily on the new 24-hour Disney Junior basic cable and
satellite channel, HO Scale Chuggington electric Locomotives, Rolling Stock, and
Accessories are arriving in 2013! Join your favorite “trainees” —Brewster, Wilson, and
Koko— as they ride the rails pulling Chuggington cars that include a Box Car, Low-Sided
Gondola, Flat Car, two Hopper Cars, and a Passenger Car. Vee, the depot dispatcher, will
be there to keep all the Chuggers on schedule.
As Bachmann proudly celebrates its 180th anniversary this year, we continue our tradition
of excellence by adding models to our hit line of HO DCC sound-equipped Sound Value
locomotives. There are five new ones for 2013—the Alco S2, F7-A, F7-B, RS-3, and EMD
DD40AX —that all include our Sound Value SoundTraxx ® diesel sound package. These
diesels are also available in DCC-ready versions.
This year, Thomas & Friends fans can look forward to Iron ‘Arry, Iron Bert, Jeremy, and
Troublesome Truck #4 as well as the new Thomas’ Christmas Express set in HO scale and
Toby the Tram Engine and new rolling stock in Large Scale.
The Alco 2-6-0 is now available in an N scale DCC-equipped model. Also joining our line
of N scale locomotives with DCC ON BOARD is the S4 Diesel. Complete your N
scale train with the new 50′ Sliding Door Box Car, ACF 50′ Steel Reefer, and Three-
Dome Tank Car, all with magnetically operated E-Z Mate ® Mark II couplers.

1987, our Big Haulers ® line has continued to grow in popularity. This is the perfect time
to introduce our new line of “Li’l” Big Haulers ® . Featuring a compact size and fanciful
designs, Bachmann’s Li’l Big Haulers ® are the perfect way to start Large Scale model
railroading. You can choose from three different ready-to-run electric train sets: Fast
Freight, Short Line Special, and North Pole Express. There’s also a full selection of colorful
separate-sale Li’l Big Haulers ® locomotives with tenders, tank engines, hoppers, tankers,
coaches, baggage cars, and cabooses.
New in Spectrum ® is the Sound-Ready DCC-equipped On30 2-4-4-2 Locomotive. You can
easily add 16-bit Tsunami ® SoundTraxx ® sound to this engine with the purchase of the
companion 2-4-4-2 Plug-and-Play Sound Module. And the super-detailed 1:20.3 C-19
brings the latest advances in model engineering to our Large Scale Spectrum ® line.
