Silent Auction
The silent auction will begin at 6:30 pm. Tables will close in ten-minute increments beginning at 8:15 pm.
Each silent auction item will be represented by a bid sheet showing the item number, description,
minimum opening bid, and minimum raise and with some having an option to “buy it now.” Once
someone bids on the “buy it now” price, the item will be SOLD.
Once the table has closed, table ushers will pull the bid sheets from the tables and give them to the
check out workers; at which time the winning bidders will be entered into the computer.
The highest bidder listed at the time the bid sheet is collected will become the owner of the item.
Winning bidders will be identified after dinner on a poster board located on the auction tables for
individuals to view.
no items may be removed until check out is complete.
Live Auction
Live Auction bidding will begin during dinner. Be sure to keep track of your auction booklet which
contains your bidder number. Pay close attention or you might miss something you just HAVE to have!
Good rule of thumb — bid early and bid high!
The live auction items can be paid for and collected during check out, along with silent auction items.
Invoices for live auctions items will also be provided at check out.
Grab Bags
This auction has something groovy for everyone! In addition to hundreds of fabulous auction items,
you can buy a Grab Bag during the Silent Auction. Priced at only $30 dollars, Grab Bags contain over
$100 worth of gift certificates and mystery items. SHH — here’s a hint, each Grab Bag is unique and
might contain a golden ticket! But, there are only 75 so be sure to visit the Grab Bag table as soon as
you get to the auction. When they are gone, they are GONE!
Check out
Check out stations are located in the Shimada Lobby
and will open after dinner. Upon payment at check
out, you will receive a copy of the invoice marked
“PAID.” It is at this time, you may return to the
table and an usher will assist you in claiming your
merchandise. If your item is represented by a
certificate you will receive it at check out.
