Tax Refunds
Services from A to Z
Residents of non-EU countries can get a refund on value-added
tax (VAT) paid in Germany. To do so, you need to obtain
an export certificate from the customs service at Frankfurt
Airport and take it to one of the service providers listed
below, who will refund the tax (minus a fee) to you. You
must present the original receipts.

at night at the B baggage claim (between 9 p.m. and 6.30 a.m.)
