GaBi Education Licensing Conditions GaBi (source code, database including extension modules and single data sets, documentation) re- mains property of PE INTERNATIONAL AG. PE INTERNATIONAL delivers GaBi licenses electronically as ordered by the customer. The license grants the right of usage for one installation of GaBi. Further installations using the same license are not permitted. GaBi Data Licensing Conditions Data sets may be copied for internal use only. The number of copies is restricted to the number of licenses of the GaBi software system that the licensee owns. Data sets may not be published without written permission of PE INTERNATIONAL. In the same way the transferral of data sets for any purpose without written permission is forbidden. The passing on of single data sets as well as their distribution or disposition is only allowed with the written permission of PE INTERNATIONAL. The right of use is ex- clusively valid for the licensee. All rights reserved. Users may not publish individual data sets. Only aggregated or calculated results produced using GaBi data may be published. In any published materials, acknowledgement must be given to GaBi when GaBi data or software is used, for example: “GaBi 5: Software and data base for Life Cycle Engineering, PE INTERNATIONAL AG, June 2012.” Licensing Conditions of GaBi Education Licenses The GaBi Education license may only be used for education purposes in programs up to and including the level of master, or equivalent, only at Universities and Colleges. PhD students in non-OECD countries may also use GaBi Education. Projects directly funded by industry or public bodies are not permitted with this version. In addition, if a student wants to license GaBi software he/she needs to pro- vide confirmation of his/her attendance at a University or College. The GaBi Education license is provided free of charge. The GaBi Education license is delivered via download. Users accept with the signature on this document to not pass on any access codes outside the orgainsation applied or the provided GaBi Education software. The GaBi Education license will expire after 12 months. A renewal of the license can be achieved by reapplying for the GaBi Education license. Support for the GaBi Education license is given via the GaBi Learning Center which can be accessed via a link from the GaBi Education software or through the GaBi Software website. Licenses are not transferable and can only be used within the licensee's organisation. If the student completes his/her studies at a University or College he/she is now longer permitted to use the GaBi Software within this license agreement. GaBi Education License Renewal Form 3
