During <strong>February</strong>, Valuation STTA Mr. Fred Levitan concluded his trip to Jordan. Mr. Levitan worked<br />
with JC Valuation Directorate to assess current valuation methodology and practices in JC and to<br />
benchmark them in line with the GATT Valuation agreement, to which Jordan is a signatory. Mr.<br />
Levitan submitted a draft report for review after his departure. Based on his <strong>February</strong> report, Mr.<br />
Levitan returned in <strong>April</strong> to carry out a series of training seminars and to assist with the implementation<br />
of practical solutions in conjunction with JC Valuation Directorate. A full report with findings will be<br />
available during mid-May after the completion of his current trip.<br />
King Abdullah II Award<br />
Mr. Weam Obeidat joined the component in <strong>February</strong> as the KAA support to JC. Mr. Obeidat has<br />
integrated himself into both the FRP II team and the JC KAA team and has formed an easy working<br />
relationship, responding to the needs and concerns of JC during this difficult phase of the KAA<br />
assessment process. During the quarter, the KAA Knowledge Management Advisor, Mr. Mohamad<br />
Humash also provided valuable training for Customs. Continuous advisory services included knowledge<br />
management readiness surveys, knowledge management mapping, monitoring and evaluation<br />
approaches, and <strong>2011</strong>-2012 Knowledge Management Strategy.<br />
SCHEDULE OF WORK PROGRESS AGAINST PLANNED ACTIVITIES<br />
The following table includes the scheduled activities and completion dates for the assistance planned<br />
during the second year work period. The table also includes work that may not be completed during the<br />
second project work year, but which will be initiated during the year. The table reflects the progress<br />
against planned activities during the sixth quarter.<br />
