4.4 Procedure for arriving/departing ACFT<br />

Arriving ACFT with MTOW > 3.5 t will be guided by a marshaller to their parking position. Arriving ACFT with MTOW < 3.5 t<br />

shall taxi independently to the parking position or as instructed by TWR. In certain cases, the final guidance will be assured<br />

by marshaller.<br />

Departing ACFT shall taxi from the parking position as instructed by TWR.<br />

4.5 Maintenance<br />

Ground run-ups are subject to a prior authorisation of the airport authority (RAMP Control),<br />

5. High visibility jacket<br />

All persons walking in the movement area must wear a yellow high-visibility safety jacket, which complies with EN 471<br />

<strong>AD</strong> 2.4) for the transportation of crew members and passengers.<br />

<strong>LSZB</strong> <strong>AD</strong> 2.21 NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES<br />

1. Measures for ACFT noise abatement<br />

1.1 IFR approaches for school and training flights.<br />

IFR approaches for school and training flights are authorized only on workdays between 0700 and 1830 (0600 and 1730). Successive<br />

approaches (MAX 2 per ACFT) are only authorized between 0700 and 1115 (0600 and 1015) as well as between 1245 and 1830 (1145 and<br />

1730). Between two series of approaches at least one hour interruption shall be interposed.<br />

For training IFR approaches without landing at <strong>LSZB</strong> an OCA/H of 3000/1327 shall be applied (irrespective of the type of<br />

approach carried out).<br />

On final approach into <strong>LSZB</strong>, One Engine Inoperative (OEI) exercises are not permitted.<br />

For measures for ACFT noise abatement for VFR flights refer to VFR-Manual, <strong>LSZB</strong> <strong>AD</strong> INFO.<br />

1.2 Visual circling for RWY 32<br />

CITY circling assigned for noise abatement.<br />

1.3 VFR flights<br />

The climb shall be continuously continued after TKOF up to MAX 4500 ft AMSL.<br />

1.4 Restrictions for jet aeroplanes:<br />

Only subject to a special permission from the Airport Authority (REF: <strong>LSZB</strong> <strong>AD</strong> 2.2) are the following aeroplanes types<br />

admitted [such a permission will as a rule and should the case arise only be granted for workdays in the period between 0700<br />

and 1115 (0600 and 1015) as well as between 1245 and 1730 (1145 and 1630)]:<br />

(A);<br />

1.6 Use of RWY system<br />

BTN 0500 - 0600 (0400 - 0500) and BTN 2100 - 2200 (2000 - 2100) landing/departure RWY assigned for noise abatement<br />

with preferably changing directions on a day-to-day basis. Chosen RWY directions are maintained as long as practicable<br />

beyond the above mentioned times.<br />

1.7 Use of reverse thrust<br />

For deceleration it is recommended to use entire RWY LEN AVBL; use of reverse shall be limited for safety or particular<br />

operational reasons.<br />

1.8 Auxiliary Power Units (APU)<br />

Primarily, airport owned mobile ground power units (GPU) shall be used.<br />

Alternatively, as well as for additional use APU may be used.<br />

The following regulations are applicable to the use of APU:<br />

At maximum 30 minutes before off-block time and at maximum 20 minutes after on-block time.<br />

The use of APU for maintenance shall be restricted to a minimum duration.<br />
