In 2009, the total Hungarian IT market of USD 2.88 billion decreased by 15 percent; the sale of<br />

hardware products fell by 26 percent, that of the software products by 6 percent and the<br />

services market shrunk by 5 percent. In <strong>2010</strong>, with<strong>in</strong> the stagnat<strong>in</strong>g IT market only the sale of<br />

hardware products is expected to <strong>in</strong>crease, the software market will stagnate, whereas the<br />

services market will even decrease by 1 percent. IDC <strong>Hungary</strong> expects a 4-5 percent <strong>in</strong>crease<br />

of the IT market <strong>in</strong> 2011 reach<strong>in</strong>g the 2008 level by 2012.<br />
