Lineally Applied (21) - A b<strong>on</strong>ded detail is c<strong>on</strong>sidered to be lineally applied when it is a<br />
l<strong>on</strong>g thin part typically with a width <strong>of</strong> 2.0” or less and the surface area is spread out in a<br />
l<strong>on</strong>g, narrow band. Examples <strong>of</strong> b<strong>on</strong>ded details that comm<strong>on</strong>ly meet this definiti<strong>on</strong><br />
include, but are not limited to, rub strips/trims, edge trim/n<strong>on</strong>-metallic, exterior wire<br />
raceways, felt, kickstrips, metal and plastic bracket, hook and loop fastener, and<br />
grommets.<br />
Same - Use <strong>of</strong> the term “the same” means the <strong>on</strong>ly differences between compared<br />
materials/c<strong>on</strong>structi<strong>on</strong>s are those properties defined by the <strong>on</strong>e or more MOCs that are<br />
being applied (e.g., color <strong>of</strong> decorative and/or thickness <strong>of</strong> material). <strong>Materials</strong> that are<br />
qualified to the same type, class, grade, etc. <strong>of</strong> a specificati<strong>on</strong> that c<strong>on</strong>trols the physical,<br />
chemical and, in particular, flammability properties are c<strong>on</strong>sidered the same for the<br />
