IV. GRAPEVINE WITH TWO TURNS<br />
1-8 Ptrs face each other, holding R hands at shldr level, M’s L hand held in back. W’s L<br />
hand holds skirt. Progressing CCW, M does Grapevine steps throughout as in Fig II<br />
(basic version), while turning ptr with joined hands on meas 2, 4, 6, and 8.<br />
W dances as follows:<br />
Meas Pattern<br />
1 1 Grapevine step<br />
2 2 turns R in 4 steps (R, L, R, L).<br />
3-6 Repeat meas 1-2 twice.<br />
7 1 Grapevine step<br />
8 Turn R with two steps (L, R) (ct 1-2); facing ptr, stamp L (with wt) (ct 3);<br />
stamp R (ct 4).<br />
SECOND REPETITION<br />
This is performed exactly as the first time through the dance, with a slight variation<br />
in Fig IV as follows:<br />
Cpls hold inside hands for Grapevine step; W holds skirt with outside hand, M has<br />
outside hand in back. W accentuates movement of skirt with R hand and the dance<br />
ends with sharp stamps.<br />
