If we imagine, that the skin contains about 5'000 sensory nerves, 400 nerve fibers and 200 nociceptors („pain receptors“), we slowly gain an idea of the importance to protect this highly sensitive organ against aggressive influences at our best possible. Dermatosis, Allergies, Eczemas How does it come to a skin disease? This question is fast answered: The skin is in contact with harmful substances every day. The skin ph value becomes weakened, the skin reacts with an irritation. Consequences are first reddenings, maybe itching; the skin is dry and tautens. The final result is a so-called Abrasion Dermatosis (rough, chapped skin). The barrier function of the skin is destroyed and potential allergens (but also pathogenic agents as bacteria and viruses) can penetrate easily.
