In the absence of our "In the News" reporter Jan<br />

Pflepsen, Pam reported the news concerning our<br />

Corvette families.<br />

Parliamentarian Linda Laningham reported the<br />

nominees for the board. She will also be forming a<br />

committee for the proposed changes to the by-laws,<br />

which will meet at after the first of the year.<br />

Central Valley Corvettes<br />

General Meeting Minutes-October 15, <strong>2013</strong><br />

General meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by<br />

President Craig Hansen.<br />

Minutes from the September General meeting were<br />

read by Terri Parks. Terri gave an update on Fred<br />

and thanked everyone for their prayers and well<br />

wishes. Motion was made by Gordon Capurro to<br />

accept the minutes as read and it was seconded by<br />

Joyce Kroeker.<br />

Membership Chairman Diane Hays thanked the<br />

members who have already sent in their dues. She<br />

reminded members to also submit the renewal<br />

forms and proof of insurance along with their dues.<br />

She welcomed our guests Mike Lebda, Terry and<br />

Debby Anderson, and Kurt and Katie Goetz.<br />

Charlotte Renna gave the Treasurer's report is the<br />

absence of Fred Parks.<br />

Vice President of Public Relations Jeff Levine<br />

reported on the birthdays and anniversaries of the<br />

club members.<br />

Vice President of Activities Pam Hansen had<br />

members report on their past runs. She reported the<br />

future runs as the Sanger Queen Haul, Fresno<br />

Veterans’ Parade, Christmas party, Christmas<br />

Lights & Hayride, Poker and Pizza, and Christmas<br />

at Hearst Castle/Cambria.<br />

Sergeant at Arms Charlie Fosnaugh collected $2.50<br />

in badge fines during the President's Mystery Run<br />

Old Business:<br />

None.<br />

New Business:<br />

The club needs a new newsletter editor by January<br />

and a Membership chair. Patricia has agreed to<br />

prepare the January newsletter.<br />

The next Board meeting will be tonight following<br />

the General meeting.<br />

<strong>November</strong>'s Board meeting will be on the 21st at<br />

the Laningham's. The newly elected board will be<br />

attending.<br />

The next General meeting is <strong>November</strong> 19th at<br />

6:30.<br />

Skip Severance advised that anyone interested in<br />

buying the new Corvette be careful because some<br />

dealers are charging several thousand dollars over<br />

MSRP.<br />

The motion to adjourn the meeting was made by<br />

Frieda Null and seconded by Charlie Fosnaugh.<br />

Meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m.<br />

Raffle: Thank you to the following members for<br />

donating raffle prizes; Anderson, Campos, Dawson,<br />

Fam, Fosnaugh, Garrison, Krebs, Kroeker,<br />

Laningham, Marine, Null, Olson, Parkin, Renna,<br />

Severance, Tavares, Walker, and Whitson.<br />
