Control Valve Health Monitoring for Improved Plant Performance
Overview
The software-based ValVue OVD tool from GE Energy monitors
and diagnoses control valve performance during normal process
operations. By improving plant integrity, efficiency and uptime,
the ValVue OVD tool reduces operating expenses and helps to
increase plant profitability. With the tool you can:
• Improve plant uptime by diagnosing and validating the health
of control valves without disturbing the process
• Enable flexible implementation such as point-to-point, with
multiplexers or integrated with leading asset management
software
• Support root cause identification with automated data
collection and analysis
• Enhance information management with a built-in database
• Better manage your resources with an activity report
• Diagnose control valves equipped with SVI* series or FVP*110
products as well as any control valves equipped with HART ®
or Foundation ® Fieldbus positioners
