Geologist Certification<br />
1. I, Jason Kins Dunning, of 12041 234th Street, Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada,<br />
hereby state that I am a geologist with an office at the previously stated address, and that:<br />
2. I hold a B.Se. (Honours <strong>Geology</strong>) from Carleton University (1994) and a M.Sc.<br />
(<strong>Geology</strong>) from Laurentian University (1998).<br />
3. I have 5 years experience with various research institutions and mining companies in<br />
Canada and the United States. My primary employment since 1996 has been in the field<br />
of mineral exploration.<br />
4. I do not expect to receive securities or other similar remuneration from Redstar Resources<br />
Corporation, 611-675 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6B 1N2.<br />
5. I am a member in good standing of the Association of Geoscientists of <strong>Ontario</strong>, where<br />
registration as such, through the Association of Professional Engineers of <strong>Ontario</strong>, is<br />
pending certification.<br />
6. I am the Vice-Chairman of the Mineral Deposits Division (MDD) of the Geological<br />
Association of Canada (GAC) for 1998 and 1999, as well as a Fellow of the GAC.<br />
7. I am also a member in good standing with the Canadian Institute of Mining and<br />
Metallurgy (CIM), Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC),<br />
Geological Society of America (GSA), and the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG).<br />
8. I have specialized training in the areas of ore deposit geology and hydrothermal alteration<br />
through graduate training, numerous short-courses, and project experience. My<br />
experience has also made me familiar with geological evaluation, prospecting, geophysical,<br />
geochemical, drilling, and exploration techniques.<br />
9. This report is based upon data collected from historical documents and journal articles, as<br />
well as field observations made over five years of work experience in and around the<br />
Temagami Greenstone Belt, Northern <strong>Ontario</strong> and a property visit from September 18th<br />
to September 21st, 1998.<br />
