INTRODUCTION
This report has been written by G.M. Hogg, P.Eng., to document exploratory
work carried out on the Kashaweogama property by R.G. Ramsay during the
period September 20th to October 5, 1990. This work has not previously
submitted for assessment credit.
The writer is familiar with the property, having most recently visited
it during June, 1991. At that time the work sites of R.G. Ramsay during
the aforementioned period were inspected.
PROPERTY LOCATION
The Kashaweogama property includes 37 contiguous, unpatented mining claims
lying astride Kashaweogama Lake, approximately 5 miles west of Highway
599. They are located within claim maps G-1991 (Armit Lake) and G-2053
(Grebe Lake), in the Patricia Mining Division of northwestern Ontario.
The property area and included claims are illustrated in Figure 1 to this
report. All work completed during the reporting period was concentrated
within the two mining claims comprising the extreme northwestern part
of-the property (claims PA 1091230 and PA 1091232).
PURPOSE OF PROGRAM
During 1989 and the earlier part of 1990 exploratory work by R.G. Ramsay
had resulted in the location of a number of prospects in the northwestern
part of the Kashaweogama property area. This prompted the cutting of the
1990 Grid Area (see accompanying Map No. 1), and its survey by VLF-EM
G.M. HOOQ « ASSOCIATES LTD,

methods during the summer of 1990. This survey defined a strongly conductive
zone extending across claims PA 1091230, PA 1091231 and PA 1091232 in a
southeasterly direction.
Immediately south of this conductor within claim PA 1091230 a highly sheared
and folded contact zone between volcanics and metasediments was previously
located. This is identified as the Stringer Zone (see Map No. 1), and low
values in gold and copper had been reported from a mineralized area within
it. The conductor lies to the north in a topographically lower area, and
no outcrop occurs in this vicinity.
In addition, exposures of quartz and silicified material containing near
massive concentrations of pyrrhotite, pyrite and chalcopyrite had been
located in the North Zone area within claim PA 1091232 (see Map No. 1).
These are believed to have been originally trenched during the early 19A0's,
but no records exist of this work. Sampling in this area by R.G. Ramsay
had reported low values in gold and copper.
The program of September/October, 1990, was undertaken by Ramsay and an
assistant with the following objectives:
(1) To expose bedrock in the overburden-covered conductive area through
trenching.
(2) To strip areas in the Stringer Zone location to better expose the
highly disturbed contact zone, and to carry out additional sampling.
(3) To clean and strip the old trench areas in the North Zone location,
and to carry out additional sampling.
RESULTS OF PROGRAM
The work locations referred to in this section are shown on accompanying
Map No. 1, and all assay results from sampling in the area to October, 1990,
0,M. HOOQ i ASSOCIATES LTD,

are listed in Appendix I to this report. Work completed during the reporting
period may be described as follows:
Conductor Area: A total of seven prospect pits were blasted and excavated
in the sandy and somewhat wet soil over the conductive area. These pits
measured approximately 5'x 5'x 4', and were sited in locations thought
most likely to contain bedrock relatively close to surface. All failed
to reach bedrock, however, yielding only some angular boulders of amphibolitic
basalt containing traces of pyrite. These were sampled as thought
appropriate, but cannot be considered as representative of the conductive
medium.
Stringer Zone; The stripping in the Stringer Zone area exposed the highly
sheared and crenulated contact zone between volcanics and metasediments
over a strike distance of approximately 200 feet. Quartz veining and
fuchsite bands occur strongly developed along this contact, but pyrite
and chalcopyrite mineralization is of sporadic distribution and generally
of low tenor. Some additional sampling of the new exposures was carried
out.
North zone: Stripping and cleaning of exposures were carried out in and
around the old trench locations in the North Zone area. In this location
very strong quartz veining is evident, in excess of 20 feet in width, and
highly siliceous material in close proximity to the quartz carried heavy
pyrrhotite mineralization with lesser pyrite and chalcopyrite. The host
rock appears to be amphibolitic basalt, and it is presumed that the extensive
quartz veining is largely concentrated in fold structures within the
basalt. In that only marginal conductivity was indicated in this area by
the VLF-EM survey, it is believed that the strong sulphide concentrations
noted in this vicinity are of limited extent. Some additional sampling
was carried out in the expanded trench areas.
GM HOGG t ASSOCIATES LTD

4.
CONCLUSIONS
Efforts to determine the nature of the conductive zone extending across,
the northwestern part of the Kashaweogama property were unsuccessful.
However, stripping in outcrop areas to the north and south of the conductive
zone confirmed the presence of profound structural deformation in the
area, and the presence of widespread anomalous values in gold, silver and
copper.
Respectfully Submitted,
