Prior knowledge about a learning difficulty, ADHD (Attention
Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), a bedwetting problem, recent
loss or major change in the family or child’s life makes a
tremendous difference in helping us to be sensitive to your
camper’s need for extra patience, understanding, and
reassurance – especially during the first few days of camp. For
campers who have attention problems or who are nervous
about new experiences this is especially true. Children often
will use behavior rather than words to tell us something is
bothering them. If we have advanced knowledge of areas that
might be difficult for your camper, it will help us to better
understand her needs. The better we understand her, the more
we can assure you of a better program for her.
Our commitment is to use personal information only to help
your child adjust to camp. Please know that we take the privacy
of your daughter’s health issues very seriously, only those camp
personnel who have a need to know will have access to any of
the medical information provided. It will never be used at camp
unless necessary, and then only with the greatest of discretion.
We can help your child have a great summer camp experience if
you help us. We encourage you to make us a full partner in
providing for your camper.
Tips on Forms
All of our camp forms are very important, they help us to plan
for the camp sessions and better prepare for your camper.
Please complete all of the forms and send them in at least four
weeks prior to the start of your camper’s session (see the
Important Dates to Remember flyer for your specific due date).
Because we want forms to have the most current information
they will not be accepted before May 1.
