Community Interests:
I am very interested to work in Ecuador on the Field of Biomass and other renewable energies. The
first thing to do is to create social awareness of the benefice of using renewable energy instead of
fossil fuels that cause environmental damages. This can be best done from my university, creating
courses and other events promoting renewable energies. It is my goal to work in partnership with
companies producing new green fuels, like ethanol, for example, using cane sugar. Ecuador has
large areas planted with sugarcane. The complete and efficient use of this biomass is a strategic goal
for my country. Pyrolysis is a promising technology to convert sugarcane wastes, like sugarcane
bagasse and leaves, into green fuels.
Associations:
- Association of Teachers and Workers at The University of Cuenca.
- Society of Mechanical Engineers of Azuay (Ecuador).
