Unusual Lucca edition of a collection ofAesopian fables. Other authors or editors collected here<br />

are Laurentius Valla, Guglielmus Gudanus, Hadrianus Barlandus, Guglielmus Hermanus, Rimicius,Angelus<br />

Politianus, Petrus Crinitus, Plinius Secundus, andAulus Gellius. Editions bringing<br />

together this group of authors were published since the 16th century. We couldn’t trace the<br />

present edition in any pertinent bibliography. – Title leaf with two repaired tears. Some white<br />

outer margins with small worm traces. A good copy in all.<br />
