REGIONAL COUNCIL MINUTES <strong>July</strong> 8, <strong>2008</strong><br />
MOTION PUT AND PASSED.<br />
Council recessed at 6:55 p.m.<br />
Council reconvened at 7:09 p.m. with the same members present with the exception of<br />
Councillors McInroy and Meade.<br />
MOVED BY Councillor Sloane, seconded by Councillor Younger, that item 9.3<br />
Case 00930 Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use ByLaw Amendment for<br />
6955 Bayers Road, <strong>Halifax</strong> be deferred until August 12, <strong>2008</strong>. MOTION PUT AND<br />
PASSED.<br />
It was noted that this public hearing would be re advertised.<br />
Councillor Smith exited the meeting at 7:10; advising Council that he was required to<br />
attend another meeting in District 9 and hoped to return.<br />
9.2 Case 00798 Dartmouth Marine Slips Redevelopment<br />
• A copy of the Fares Real Estate Inc. information was before Council.<br />
• An extract of the draft <strong>Regional</strong> Council minutes of June 17, <strong>2008</strong> was before<br />
Council.<br />
• A Memorandum dated June 16, <strong>2008</strong> from David Lane, Senior Planner, to<br />
<strong>Regional</strong> Council, was before Council.<br />
• A staff report dated May 29, <strong>2008</strong> was before Council.<br />
• A report from the Harbour East Community Council dated June 6, <strong>2008</strong> was<br />
before Council.<br />
