PART B - ORGANISATIONAL ACTIVITIES
B.1 Membership Development Programs
• Effort in Membership Development
The IEEE NSW Section targeted another 200 free student memberships in 2008. The sponsored
memberships were for first time student members only. A total of 164 student members were
sponsored in 2008. We also increased our visibility at Universities with posters, as well as
maintaining a public “Google Calendar” for all our local NSW events. Many thanks to Mr Pankaj
Mehta for keeping these events up to date.
