IEEE New South Wales Section 225 th Executive Committee Meeting Minutes Monday 2 nd June 2008 at 7:00pm Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE, North Sydney College, Library Seminar Room 2 10.3. Graeme Gwilliam moved that Eddie Fong be included in contingent to go to Sections Congress. Kim Chin seconded the motion. The meeting accepted the proposal. Agenda 2.1. Agenda accepted 3. Minutes of June 2008 Meeting 3.1. June Minutes • Walter Lachs moved that minutes be accepted and David Tien seconded the motion. The minutes were accepted. • Correction –date to be April in lieu of March for Item 3. • John Robinson moved minutes be accepted. Eddie Fong seconded the motion. The minutes were accepted. 3.2. Business Arising • No business arising. 3.3. Antony Zaglas advised meeting regarding conflict in July 2007 minutes item 5.6 raised by Nuala Ward. Action statement should read “Rob Curtis to lodge Yearly GST return forms” 4. Correspondence 4.1. Lunchtime function hosted by Sydney Convention Centre. 5. Treasurers Report 5.1. Ian Boyd is away. He will sign transfer forms at first opportunity. 5.2. Cap on Prof. Roma Rinkeviciene expenses contribution to $800. 5.3. David Burgers airfare to Sections Congress just under $4000. 5.4. Eddie Fong Air Fare to Sections Congress $3300. 5.5. Graeme Gwilliam suggested budget be prepared for 2008 due to large expenditures. 5.6. Graeme Gwilliam also raised the issue of a register of assets. 5.7. Engineers Australia invoice for Joint Lecture Program needs to be clarified. 5.8.
