protection assumes that fermion parity in the superconductor is preserved,<br />

our result is very intuitive.<br />

We conclude that the Majorana-based qubits are indeed topologically wellprotected<br />

at low temperatures as long as the experimental temperature regime is<br />

well below the superconducting gap energy.<br />
