Psalm 95 - Rehearsals are starting for Psalm 95!
First rehearsal will be Tuesday, October 9th at
7:30 pm in the Parish Hall. It’s not too late to
join! Please drop by or call Peter Allen at 664-

Mark Your Calendars! First dance of the year
will be Friday, October 12th from 7 to 10 pm in
the Parish hall for 6th and 7th graders. Bring a
friend. Admission: $9.00. Bring a can for the
Food Pantry and get $1.00 off!
2007 Catholic Appeal Update
Giving in Faith, Giving with Love
Thank you to all supporters of the 2007 Catholic Appeal.
Our parish has raised $30,463 from 183 households,
reaching 77.1% of our parish goal of $39,500.
If you have not yet given, please consider a gift today
and help us meet our goal. You can pick up information
packets with pledge forms in the back of the
Church to be mailed in.
CCS Annual Fall Luncheon
The Christian Community Service organization of
North Reading will be sponsoring a Fall Luncheon
on Friday, October 19th at 12:30 pm. It
will be held at the Union Congregation Church on
Haverhill St. Music provided by The Echoes.
Door prizes will be awarded. Donation: $5
(proceeds to benefit CCS). MENU: Pot Roast,
Mashed Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Gelatin Salad,
Rolls & Butter, Coffee, Tea and Pumpkin Pie.
The Parish Newsletter is Looking for Help!
Do you like to write? Perhaps you would enjoy
working on our Parish Newsletter, which
is mailed to registered parishioners every other
month. The Newsletter contains stories about
the many people, organizations, and events
that contribute to the life of our parish, but it
does not write itself! The articles are written
by parishioners and we need your help to continue
this. Recently, two volunteers moved on
to other activities and the Newsletter is now
being written by just one person who would
really like some help.
You don’t have to have perfect spelling or
grammar, nor be a former journalist. Most
Newsletter articles start with an e-mail or a
phone call to a parishioner or two to get some
background information. Then, we take their
words and experiences and craft them into a
story we think people will enjoy reading. If the
opportunity arises, we add photographs. It is a
great way to learn about the parish and meet
new people.
