is more than $51 billion dollars <strong>in</strong> the U.S. (43). In addition, accord<strong>in</strong>g to a review of the literature<br />
by the National Highway Traffic Safety Adm<strong>in</strong>istration, across the U.S. <strong>in</strong> 2011 (44):<br />
7% of all traffic crashes were alcohol related.<br />
31% of fatal crashes were alcohol related.<br />
There is one alcohol-impaired driv<strong>in</strong>g fatality every 53 m<strong>in</strong>utes.<br />
