dorsal side, and acuminate. Gullet lies near
the ventral side and extends beyond the middle
of the cell. In the anterior third of the cell,
there are one or two large oval bodies. Cells
are but barely compressed. Measuring 27-38 x
11-16 p Cr. reflexa 16.
à') Cells narrowly cuneiforM, elongated. Dorsal
anterior end forms a short, cuspidate wedge
or cone. Posterior end is sharply cuspidate.
Cells are slightly sigmoid. Body is hardly
compressed. Gullet extends to the middle of
the cell. There are one or two ellipsoids in
the anterior portion. Measurements: 15-19 x -
4.5-6 y Cr. gracilis 17.
e) Cells narrowly cuneiform (not as thin as the
fre-Evious species). Dorsal anterior end protrudes
only a little, and is broadly rounded.
Posterior end is tapered and more or less
dorsally curved, cuspidate, but with the
extremity usually slightly rounded. Gullet
extends approximately to the middle of the cell.
ThInner than in the species.
