Functional description<br />
Top mounted level indicators form an integral part of the pressure<br />
vessel. Via a process connection a standpipe is mounted<br />
on top of a tank or a vessel.<br />
The top mounted pipe contains a magnetic system which is connected<br />
to a float and buoyancy rod system. The concentrated magnetic field of<br />
the permanent magnet transmits the liquid level of the tank below in proportion<br />
to the filling height in a contactless way through the wall of the<br />
top-mounted standpipe onto externally mounted displaying, recording<br />
and switching elements.<br />
