waterproof structure.
The outer surfaces of structural components need a
resistant and seamless protection against moisture
and penetrating water, as is governed in the waterproofing
standard DIN 18195.
However, in the building industry, special details or
requirements often represent a problem, e.g. the
provision of horizontal waterproofing in or below a
rising shell wall.
In addition, the demands made for better fittings of
basements are increasing, which necessarily results
in more stringent requirements.
Therefore, it is great to be able to rely on products of
the IMBERAL ® system. As a reactive, fast structural
waterproofing, IMBERAL ® RSB 55Z in particular
offers outstanding options for application and use –
even on difficult substrates.
IMBERAL ® RSB 55Z is a 2-component structural
waterproofing, flexible at low temperatures, highly
pressure-resistant, crack-bridging, for all horizontal
and vertical surfaces.

STRUCTURAL WATERPROOFING 02_03
The plastic-modified bitumen thick coatings (KMB)
with the system names IMBERAL ® and ÖKOPLAST ®
are versatile in use. They ensure safe sealing, especially
for the outer walls of basements, floor surfaces
and supporting walls of residential and commercial
buildings. As 1- and 2-component materials, they
provide permanent protection against ground moisture
or standing water.
The primer IMBERAL ® Aquarol 10D additionally
provides a high degree of safety through a strongly
adhesive and reinforcing preparation of the substrates
and can be worked in the system after just a short
drying period. In this manner, waterproofing work
can be carried out quickly and safely.

basement solutions.
So far, basement renovation was an extremely tedious
procedure. A large number of work steps and construction
materials were required to satisfy the stringent
requirements of an extensive renovation. The traditional
procedure, as is known, involves a prolonged period
for the actual work and also for the intermediate drying
phase. All in all, if using conventional construction
products, with the individual work steps and drying
phases, and with a moisture- or salt-stressed wall,
approximately 7 working days are required.

INTRASIT ® RZ1 55HSP
Can be very universally used as a grouting application
or as a sealing mortar and is easy to process. Coat
thickness from 3 mm to 5 cm. Can be worked after
approximately 1 hour.
INTRASIT ® RZ2 55HSP
Natural white, extremely easy to process air conditioning
plaster with outstanding yield and anti-fungal effect.
Consumption just 6.5 kg/m²/cm coat thickness. Can
be rubbed off after approx. 3 hours.
Ideally, the RZ-system is enhanced with INTRASIT ®
SE-SF 70A, a specially developed high-quality silicate
paint. It is VOC- and TÜV-tested and recommended
in terms of indoor hygiene. Moreover, it is open to
diffusion and is impressive in its high covering ability
as well as natural anti-fungal protection owing to a
high alkalinity.

Overall, the INTRASIT ® system includes primers,
chemical injections, reaction resins, salt inhibitors,
quick cements and special mortar, sealing slurries,

walkways and external staircases, because of the
climatic stresses that they are subject to, are among
the building parts with the most stringent requirements.

cold or dryness and wetness often makes thorough

HADALAN ® EG145 13E and HADALAN ® EBG 13E,
two special epoxy resin primers, which alternatively
guarantee, depending on the requirements, optimum
preparation of substrates that are osmosis-stable
and fast-reacting.
HADALAN ® DS61 13P, a high-quality 2-component
sealing compound whose base layer is watertight,
highly elastic, crack-bridging and impermeable to
steam.
Now, a new product: HADALAN ® FBA 32P, the new
high-quality 1-component alternative. The coloured
balcony coating is UV-resistant and weathering resistant
and can be directly walked on and subjected
to stress. In this manner, high-quality balcony renovation
can be carried out on one working day and
by scattering coloured chips, can also be converted
into a decorative terrazzo-like design.

HADALAN ® LF68 12P, a 1-component bonding agent
with high strength, which is softener-resistant and
VOC-tested. In combination with our natural stones,
it is possible to obtain decorative as well as functional
floors. In contrast to many alternative products,
HADALAN ® LF68 12P is solvent-free, but has an officially
certified UV- and weathering stability as well
as outstanding technical properties for application.

For repairing such surfaces, there is a need for

used even with very bad and variable substrate
situations.
The HADALAN ® system for floors includes primer
applications, mineral levelling and repair compounds,
paints and coatings, joint sealer compounds, repairing
and casting compounds, fillers, additives,

forming and coating procedures with stringent
demands for visual effect and use.
With HADALAN ® EBG 13E, a bonding agent technology

FLOOR COATING 08_09
HADALAN ® EBG 13E can be used as a primer for the
preliminary treatment of the substrate and in conjunction
with a special filler mixture as an equalisation
coat. As compared to the conventional EP systems
or aqueous EP systems, it has significant advantages
with regard to the very good processing properties,
such as low shrinkage and fast full hardening.
Moreover, HADALAN ® EBG 13E is free of VOC and
thus sustainably protects both the person processing
it as also the user, from volatile organic compounds.
Here, too, it provides advantages as compared to the
known epoxy resin systems, in respect of allergen
materials. The user permanently enjoys a VOC-free
floor that guarantees meeting the requirements for
an enhanced internal air quality.

mineral substrates It provides protection from soaking
through on clinker and exposed brickwork walls
and is to be used on mineral outer plaster, concrete,
aerated concrete etc. Ideal for avoiding algae and
moss formation, bloom caused by carrying water
and bursting from frost. VESTEROL ® MS 55HSP is a
1-component mineral putty for fast repair work. The
material is particularly stress-free and thanks to its
formula and colour, especially suited for fast concrete
repairing, since it unifies the functions of corrosion
protection, bonding bridge and repair mortar.

HADALAN ® BM 55HSP is a fast hardening, actively
adhesive polymer cement mortar with rapid strength
development. The PCC-mortar hardens with low shrinkage
and low stress even in larger coat thicknesses
and can be mechanically highly stressed after just a
short time. Owing to its high polymer content, it shows
outstanding adhesion on clean mineral substrates
in thick and thin layers. Thanks to the high-modulus
fibre technology, HADALAN ® BM 55HSP hardens
into particularly high tensile strength, low-wear and
fluid-impermeable layers.
HADALAN ® Topcoat G 32P is a 1-component, moisture-hardening
and light-resistant polyurethane resin.
The reaction with the atmospheric humidity results in
a migration-resistant, wear-resistant and chemicalresistant
application film.
