FELT POLISHING FLAP DISCS PATENT by QUICK GUIDE Cleaning Cutting Grinding Deburring Blending Finishing Polishing Felt Polishing Discs With Fiberglass Backing Flap discs made of 70% wool felt affixed to a fiberglass backing plate to create a thick polishing pad. The individual flaps are flexible, and allow a cool air flow. Felt discs are used with polishing compounds or pastes to provide up to a mirror finish.
