Alternating flaps of coated
abrasive and nonwoven
finishing materials.
The coated flaps provide light
stock removal or deburring,
while the nonwoven flaps
apply a good finish.
Produces a brushed, or
lightly grained finish, as is
popular with stainless steel
food processing equipment.
Abrasive grain distributed
throughout a 3-dimensional
nylon web.
Conditions, cleans and
finishes the surface without
undercutting the material.
Some products are available
in Surface Conditioning
Material and Convolute
versions with heavier grain
concentrations and densities
for added aggressiveness
and strength.
High concentration of
abrasive grain throughout
a firm, nonwoven base
material.
The additional grain
requires less operator
pressure, increasing tool
life and grinding cooler.
Achieve final finishes and
well prepared surface prior
to Polishing.
For producing up to a
mirror finish!!!
Made from 100% wool felt
and used with a polishing
paste or buffing compound.
Felt is arranged in a flap
pattern to allow cooler air
flow and dissipate the heat.
Felt flap wheels are more
flexible than solid felt points
and eliminate the need for
assorted shapes.
Wheels also available in slit
brushes for added flexibility
