System 8500<br />
MPS 854<br />
The System 8500 power supply program offers the Ultrastable Power Supply 854 specially<br />
designed for powering magnets in MRI applications.<br />
With this power supply we have achieved not only the ultimate regarding stability - the 0.1<br />
ppm class - but also introduced new standards regarding extremely low ripple and filtering<br />
technology.<br />
Major parts of the power supply 854 are constructed from standard modules of the system<br />
8500 power supply program. The modular concept is the industrial approach towards easy<br />
and fast service.<br />
The power supply can be delivered for either full current range or limited “window” with 1 ppm<br />
resolution. For sub ppm resolutions a separate control input port is available. The basic concept<br />
is designed for easy adaption to customer designed interfaces. The attached specifications<br />
describe the performance data of the power supply 854.<br />
