Philips DuraDiagnost digital radiography system - Efficiency room
In today’s challenging economic environment, healthcare providers are
devoted to providing patients with the best possible imaging services,
while making smart use of financial resources to help more people.
The Philips DuraDiagnost Efficiency room provides efficient workflow for
public and private hospitals as well as private clinics, providing the opportunity
for a fast return on investment. Thanks to its dual detector set-up, it can
handle a variety of patient examinations in a single radiography room.
Your patients benefit from fast examinations. Your facility benefits from a
reputation for quality, by offering a high level of imaging services based on the
DR technology from Philips - one of the world’s leading healthcare providers.
Key advantages
• Outstanding workflow efficiency with
two DR detectors in one room
• Versatile workhorse supports high
return on investment
• High reliability with proven
DR technology from Philips –
one of the leading DR innovators

Philips DuraDiagnost
Effi ciency room highlights
The DuraDiagnost Effi ciency room is another
building block of Imaging 2.0, our new way of
thinking about radiology. Imaging 2.0 focuses
on imaging science designed to deliver greater
collaboration, increased patient comfort,
and improved economic value.
The “EasyAlign” feature helps you quickly
align the tube and detector correctly without
having to walk back and forth to the patient,
saving a good deal of time and effort.
Being able to display the clinical image
on the Eleva workspot quickly after
exposure helps to speed up workfl ow.
Outstanding workflow efficiency
with two DR detectors
Perform chest, abdominal, extremity examinations, and
free exposures – easily and effi ciently – using two Philips
fi xed detectors: one in the vertical stand and
one in the table. It is not necessary to move one
detector between the table and vertical stand.
All general radiography examinations can be effi ciently
performed in one room with two digital detectors.
The “EasyAlign” feature helps you save time by
indicating the correct alignment between the
detector and the tube. This saves staff from
having to walk back and forth to the patient.
Tilt the detector on the vertical stand from vertical
to -20 degrees to support special applications.
The X-ray tube stand can be swiveled around to
handle trolley applications and diffi cult projection
angles. The tube and table detector can be coupled
for abdominal projections and decoupled for oblique
projections. All features have been designed to
provide a comfortable patient examination.
Versatile workhorse supports
high return on investment
This dual detector design allows you to effi ciently
perform all examinations in one digital radiography
room. For instance, you can perform a chest
examination and an abdominal examination with
one single system without having to move the
detector. This fl exible set-up helps you to handle a
high patient load, which provides the opportunity
for a high return on your investment.
The system geometry can be positioned for sitting,
standing, and supine patients in various positions to
support a wide range of DR applications. Staff can
quickly position the system with the ergonomic
handles and smooth movements. The Philips
DR imaging chain components are designed
to provide consistent quality images.
The DuraDiagnost is fully supported by Philips
global service network. Our fi eld service engineers,
remote service technicians, and front line call agents
support the DuraDiagnost with a world-class
services network. We work to avoid service issues
from occurring or quickly resolve them when
they do happen – the fi rst time, every time.
Proven DR technology from Philips
– a leading DR innovator
The DuraDiagnost delivers reliable and consistent
performance based on proven DR technology
from Philips, one of the leading innovators in
direct digital radiography for the last 20 years
and in X-ray technology for over 100 years.
Our Eleva concept has been developed with
customers and is the same harmonized user interface
found on all Philips premium digital radiography
systems. With the Eleva workspot, it takes just
three steps to get an image after exposure.
The system also easily integrates into hospital
networks (RIS/PACS) and archiving systems
via DICOM.
Robust digital flat detector
Our robust fl at detector can withstand shocks and
vibrations and is stable at a wide range of temperatures
and humidity, offering you solid reliability. Philips UNIQUE
image processing software provides consistent,
good clinical image quality for all anatomical areas.
The detector is designed to provide reliable and
long-lasting performance year after year.
Philips high performance X-ray
tube with user-friendly interface
and ergonomic design.
Get more fl exibility at the table
with the coupling/decoupling feature.
The tube and table detector can be
coupled for most straight projections
and decoupled for oblique
projections. The coupling feature
helps technologists save time by not
having to align the detector and tube.
