Hilding Anders and Lexington join forces to launch a new bed
Hilding Anders and Lexington Company have joined forces to design a new bed
concept. It will be launched onto the Swedish market in November.
The bed, which is being launched under the Lexington brand, is the first real lifestyle bed on
the market. It is also the first product within the bed sector for Lexington, who has up until
now primarily been known for their bedclothes and bedroom furnishings.
The bed has been produced in collaboration with Hilding Anders, the leading bed
manufacturer in Europe and Asia. Manufacture, sales and distribution will also be the
responsibility of Hilding Anders.
The Lexington bed is a continental bed that will be manufactured in two sizes, and will feature
a unique spring system that means that the bed will only need one type of firmness. The
structure and design highlight Lexington’s signature colours, white and navy blue, and the
fabric pattern will feature Lexington’s traditional New England style, with straight and clean
lines, coupled with rustic legs in dark‐stained wood. The bed is made from durable natural
materials such as cotton, latex and bamboo, and will sort into the premium segment.

The Lexington bed will be launched in November in SOVA stores, in Lexington’s flagship store
in Stockholm and at NK Inredning in Göteborg.
Hilding Anders was founded in 1939 at Bjärnum in Skåne and has developed into Europe and Asia’s leading bed and mattress
manufacturer. Its head office is currently located in Malmö and the group is owned by the British investment company Candover.
Through its around 30 subsidiaries, the Group owns around 20 strong bed brands that are sold in Europe and Asia. Hilding Anders also
carries out a comprehensive production programme for several renowned international furniture retailers. The Group has a workforce of
