This report on the <strong>National</strong> <strong>Trust</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Scotland</strong> was<br />
commissioned by the Charity’s Council in October<br />
2009. The mandate was:<br />
• To conduct a strategic review of <strong>NTS</strong> resources and<br />
governance in order to assess the organisation’s<br />
capability to address current and future challenges.<br />
• To do so independently and transparently, taking into<br />
account the views of all stakeholders.<br />
• To make recommendations and to provide an outline<br />
plan and timetable <strong>for</strong> implementation.<br />
The report was completed in July <strong>2010</strong>. The publication<br />
is available to download free from the website of the<br />
<strong>National</strong> <strong>Trust</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Scotland</strong>:<br />
