SYNDRIVE 50E<br />
<strong>PRODUCT</strong> DESCRIPTION<br />
Castrol Syndrive 50E is a full synthetic transmission fluid, specially formulated for Eaton and<br />
Meritor transmissions, differentials and transfer cases in extended drain and severe service. It is<br />
fully approved for Eaton Roadranger gear boxes, meeting the new Eaton Specification PS 164<br />
Rev. 7. Castrol Syndrive 50E is approved by Eaton for their extended drain interval and<br />
warranty programme.<br />
Castrol Syndrive 50E is also approved for Meritor (Rockwell) transmissions in extended drain<br />
operations.<br />
<strong>PRODUCT</strong> APPLICATION<br />
Castrol Syndrive 50E is recommended for use in Eaton and Meritor (Rockwell) transmissions,<br />
transfer cases and differentials operating where long oil drain periods and extended warranty<br />
conditions apply. It is ideally used in Roadranger or Meritor (Rockwell) transmissions which are<br />
operating under arduous conditions such as B-Doubles or road trains. It will provide significantly<br />
better performance and protection than conventional mineral oils or previous generation synthetic<br />
fluids.<br />

Castrol Syndrive 50E is considered non-hazardous according to Worksafe. However, in line with<br />
safe handling practices, it is recommended that the handling instructions outlined in the Castrol<br />
Material Safety Data sheet be followed.<br />

Soak up using an inert mineral adsorbent such as Castrol MOP S and<br />
dispose of in the appropriate manner.<br />
Corrective action usually dictated by individual company safety<br />
procedures. Immediate containment and subsequent removal is<br />
essential.<br />
Oily materials must not be allowed to enter groundwater, watercourses,<br />
sewerage or drainage systems. Refer to local Waste Disposal Authority<br />
for legal requirements.<br />

Remove with Castrol solvent cleaners or water based degreasers.<br />
Use any of the Castrol range of hand cleaners, e.g. CareClean Plus.<br />
