Product Description<br />

Castrol <strong>SAF</strong>-X is a full synthetic, SAE<br />

75W-140 final drive lubricant designed to<br />

meet the rigorous demands of today's<br />

advanced commercial vehicles. Castrol<br />

<strong>SAF</strong>-X provides excellent antiwear<br />

performance and cold flow properties that<br />

extend component life and improve<br />

driveline efficiency. The wide span<br />

multigrade properties provide excellent<br />

high temperature performance for good<br />

component protection under high<br />

load/high temperature conditions.<br />

Applications<br />

Castrol <strong>SAF</strong>-X is a SAE 75W-140, suitable<br />

for both conventional and limited slip<br />

differentials and final drives in commercial<br />

vehicles. Castrol <strong>SAF</strong>-X may be used<br />

where an API GL5 or less specification is<br />

required. The wide span viscometrics<br />

allows for use in a wide range of<br />

commercial applications and may be used<br />

in all-terrain vehicles, four wheel drive and<br />

racing cars operating under severe<br />

conditions.<br />
