Dr. <strong>Sigua</strong> graduated from the University of California,<br />
San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry<br />
and cellular biology. He attended medical school<br />
at Ross University’s School of Medicine in 2000 and<br />
completed a residency in physical medicine and<br />
rehabilitation at Rush University<br />
Medical Center in Chicago. While<br />
at Rush University, Dr. <strong>Sigua</strong> was<br />
appointed chief resident from<br />
2003 to 2004.<br />
Following his residency,<br />
Dr. <strong>Sigua</strong> continued his<br />
fellowship training in sports<br />
medicine, electrodiagnostic<br />
medicine and interventional<br />
spine at Michigan State<br />
University. Dr. <strong>Sigua</strong> has<br />
served as both a researcher<br />
and teacher in areas of<br />
physical medicine,<br />
rehabilitation and<br />
pain management.<br />
Dr. <strong>Sigua</strong> is an active<br />
member of the<br />
American Academy<br />
of Physical Medicine<br />
and Rehabilitation<br />
and the Association<br />
of Academic<br />
Physiatrists.
