has been set for Labor Day <strong>Week</strong>end, August<br />

31 through September 2. Now in its fifth<br />

year, this three-day event is a world-class<br />

celebration of the vineyards, wines, cuisine,<br />

culture and characters that have made<br />

Sonoma County the ultimate wine country<br />

The 2012 Sonoma <strong>Wine</strong> <strong>Country</strong><br />

<strong>Week</strong>end event features the Taste of Sonoma<br />

at MacMurray Ranch ® , Sonoma Starlight<br />

Supper Club at Francis Ford Coppola<br />

<strong>Wine</strong>ry, the 20th annual Sonoma Valley<br />

Harvest <strong>Wine</strong> Auction presented by<br />

TricorBraun <strong>Wine</strong>Pak (this year held at a new<br />

venue, Chateau St. Jean in northern Sonoma<br />

Valley) and an assortment of intimate and<br />

exclusive winery lunch and dinner parties at<br />

multiple locations throughout Sonoma<br />

County. Proceeds from Sonoma <strong>Wine</strong><br />

<strong>Country</strong> <strong>Week</strong>end support Sonoma County<br />

non-profit organizations; to date a<br />

cumulative total of more than $10 million<br />

has been donated directly to Sonoma nonprofits<br />

by the local wine community.<br />

Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series Concludes<br />

The 22nd annual Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series will wrap up the 2012<br />

season of fine food, wine and incredible music with Al Jarreau with The George Duke<br />

Trio on August 11 and Huey Lewis & The News on September 1.<br />

Quintessential vocalist Al Jarreau is the only singer ever to win Grammy Awards in<br />

three different genres – R&B, pop and jazz. Doors open at 4 p.m., show begins at 5<br />

p.m. – Tickets are $80 for VIP, $50 for generatl admission.<br />

Rocking audiences worldwide for three decades, Huey Lewis & The News have sold<br />

more than 20 million albums with a blend of pop, rock and soul music. Doors open at 4<br />

Surrounded by acres of beautiful vineyards, guests will be treated top contemporary<br />
